I agree. That baby, soft whispery voice that she uses in interviews isn’t really her natural voice because when I saw her in that Tyler Perry movie, Why Did I Get Married, she used a natural tone and sounded like a grown azz woman.

BTW, I love her, but she does look a tad chunky. But we know she struggles with weight and after two shows will be back to a size 0.

I think she’s looks ok physically- the outfit…not so much, ya’ll making it sound like it’s Mo’Nique instead of Janet, she trying to get that weight right so she can have a baby before 50!

I disagree, I think that when she wants to give that sex kittenish vibe, she uses that voice, barely parting her lips (which is rather annoying to watch). When she was in Different Strokes, she was a teen…and most people’s voice/vocal cords naturally develop as they age…unless you make a concerted effort to maintain that “little girl” voice.

Like I said, peep Janet’s performance in Tyler Perry’s movie and tell me where that lil soft spoken whispery voice went? She switches up depending on the audience.

I just saw the show in Oakland California. What an Amazing show!!! I thought Janet rocked that hairstyle, you can’t please everybody.
