@Somali You need to do some research most blacks are descendants of the Isrealites. My mom is Eritean and Ethopian descent and so are a lot of other black Americans. Not all blacks are descendants from West Africans. Besides if most of us aren’t Isrealites we are still descendants of West Africans which have deep roots and were founders of some of the first universities!

One other thing, the there is nothing ‘HISTORICAL’about the bible. It was written but many people over many years, based on stories that were handed down over generations. There is no archaeological evidence that anything written in the Old Testament actually happened, so pulling out a bunch of “facts” from the bible about Moses and Jacob and the like is a complete waste of time.

Somali, you are quoting these Bible verses but that does not mean the Ethiopians that it speaks of are the Ethiopians that are living in the area today. Just as Egypt has invaders that live in it today (Arabs that claim the Egyptian culture) I am very sure the same has been done with the Ethiopians and Somalians of today who I suspect may be truly turkish/Greek invaders. Black Americans, West Africans and Black in the Carriebean may have a real claim to this history. If you dig deep into Asante culture and other West African groups it is very evident. Some groups claim of a history of being run out of there original homes in the East.

@GLOCK I think you are missing the point – “The Torah” is a religious document; there is nothing in it about genetics, history, nothing like that. The Torah is not “evidence” for anything. The earliest copies of the Torah date from about 300BC. There were people in West Africa many many thousands of years before that. They were not “converted” by Jews either – Judaism has never been a proselytising religion. Have you ever spoken to any of the so-called “imposter Jews” that you hate so much?

To say that “Blacks” or “African Americans”, groups with hundreds of millions of people of diverse ancestry are the “real Jews” requires you to ignore genetics and a couple thousand years of history. Now if you want to believe that black people are metaphorically the “Jews of the Bible” that is fine. But the Bible is a book of religion, not history. There is a very clear, written history of the Jewish people that dates back 2000 years, and certainly pre-dates “Hebrew Israelite” talk.
