I don’t believe beck is the person he portrays to be. He is an actor/entertainer who says things in an effort collect a check and some fame. That’s his job. Too bad he picked up followers in the process. I would guess his followers aren’t too smart because they can’t see through the hustle.

If you believe Beck’s LIES about MLK sad to say not only has the school systen failed you but also your parents! Dont you have any older blacks in your family you talked to you about our history? I had a great uncle in who was beaten in to death in West Virginia by 2 white boys because he did not hold the door open for a white woman.

I agree. Even Rush Limbaugh admits that he is a personality and news entertainer. They are just like the rappers running around claiming they’ve got street cred. It’s just over dramatics for ratings.

The thing with this fool and others like him is that what they do is subtle. The public is supposed to believe that he is honoring Dr. King by trying to upstage todays commemoration of the “I have a dream” speech. He makes comments like “we are taking America out of the darkness.” It’s not as “dark” now as it was when Bush and the Reps. were running the country. So what is he talking about? Slime bags like him like to use double meanings and maglinant innuendos to spew out hate. As much as I love President Obama, and believe in what he is doing for this country, I will be glad to give it back to white America when his term is up, so they can go back to business as usual and finish f…in themselves up.

I don’t see why people are making such a big deal out of this. Okay, the man drew a crowd of over 10,000. So he had his moment. So did Dr. King. And what Dr. King did today could never be erased or minimized. It happened. In all honesty, this world will NEVER see racial equality until God steps in.

We can yell and rant all we want but if we didn’t put in a bid for the day ourselves who are we to attack him for requesting it? I don’t expect anything respectable from people like him so I feel no need to waste my time yelling at something we can’t change. This man can’t do anything to tarnish MLK’s history or sacrifice for our nation (for blacks and whites). We should be marching in our neighborhoods trying to get our kids back.
