I will never vote for Bossip. I come in here every once in a while just to see what is going on. The staffers never seem to surprise me with the way they are constantly calling women of all races ho, skank, *****, and whatever derogatory name they can think of. Even when some of these black stars are doing something positive, Bossip always finds a way to sneak some snarky, negative comment in to bring down that celeb. TMZ and Perez Hilton may be trashy, but they are not constantly painting their celebs in harsh light. There are more black people doing good deeds besides Obama. And while we are on that subject, Sen. Obama would not agree with you calling Palin or any other woman a ho because he’s a standup guy, so do us all of favor and quit using his name is promoting this 5th grade gossip of a website. You make me shame to be black (and that is very hard to do, trust me). You have the means to show our people in a positive respect but you don’t. What good are you?

I have to agree with sharkmeat on a variety of points. Bossip never p*****es on an opportunity to disrespect the black woman, every chick on this site is a hoe, gold-digger, or some other derogatory name, you could do a lot better. If you notice the poster take lead from the titles. Unfortunately the other sites are not much better, If I do vote for Bossip it is because of the volume of bloggers and they tend to be more intelligent than the ones on other sites

FIRST: I never thought Barack Obama was a sell out. Furthermore, Barack is not here to solve the Black Communities problems. If anything, he gives us incentive that our problems can be solved through intelligence and not violence. Also, he makes what our Mothers always told us TRUE- anyone can be President if you strive hard enough. Helping our communities strive starts at home with our children and families. Just getting registered to vote helps your community. If makes the government recognize YOU as a citizen of the USA and a person who has equal rights in this country. If you are not a registered voter, the government doesn’t even care if you exist or not, but as a registered voter – you can DEMAND your rights as a citizen. So respect our ancestors who gave up their life for us to have this privilege, which the government TRIED to deny us. If must be a good thing, if they didn’t want us to parti*****te. And even now they are looking for ways to stop the registered people from voting through technicalities, etc.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. Add to that the fact that the comment section is used as a message board. All the “First!”, “Second!”,”Hey, Girl! Call me!”, “Good morning all my Bossip peoples: Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky and Mike, Ralph, Jordan, Donnie, Joey, Jonathan, Danny, Nate, Wanye & Shawn” and “Black women/ men ain’t sh*t!!!” comments are sooo junior high but I realize my commenting on it won’t make anyone stop.
I check this this site but it’s only for a base level of entertainment. When it comes to other blogs, particularly the ones Bossip’s up against, I have to vote honestly and unfortunately Bossip didn’t get my vote. I like it but it’s hardly the best.
