FIRST: I never thought Barack Obama was a sell out. Furthermore, Barack is not here to solve the Black Communities problems. If anything, he gives us incentive that our problems can be solved through intelligence and not violence. Also, he makes what our Mothers always told us TRUE- anyone can be President if you strive hard enough. Helping our communities strive starts at home with our children and families. Just getting registered to vote helps your community. If makes the government recognize YOU as a citizen of the USA and a person who has equal rights in this country. If you are not a registered voter, the government doesn’t even care if you exist or not, but as a registered voter – you can DEMAND your rights as a citizen. So respect our ancestors who gave up their life for us to have this privilege, which the government TRIED to deny us. If must be a good thing, if they didn’t want us to participate. And even now they are looking for ways to stop the registered people from voting through technicalities, etc. 
