I love this rule this needs to be a law world wide. I for one am tired of walking past these young boys and telling them to pull up their pants. I live in Henry County in Ga. and they have a rule in the High Schools where the boys have to have their pants on their waist and shirts tucked in. Love it. I just wish that it was a law outside of school also. They are preparing the students to dress like young men and young ladys. I just wish more would stand up an take notice.

It’s a good law to place on the books, however, it doesn’t hit the core of the problem. The problem is not the indivisulas wearing the clothes in a disrespectful manner it’s the parents that allow them to venture outside looking like that so if i had the ability to enact such a law I’d fine the parents and you better believe that once they receive the first $200 fine they will address that person living in their home dressing that way.

Your point is flawed…I can easily look at a person and see whether their pants are sagging or not, not really a hard thing to do. How do you look at someone and know they are illegal? How can you look at someone and just go by the way they look to charge them for a crime? If you see the crime in action (pants hanging off their rear ends) I think it is very easy to give them a citation. Someone (since their parents can’t do it) needs to make these young men dress appropriately.

It’s one thing to dress like that in the streets (with jeans), but when they start wearing their suits like that, and going in for job interviews like that; that is when we have a problem. I am a security guard, for a corporation, and one came in for an interview dressed in a suit with the pants all the way down even the suit jacket/blazer could not hide it. It is really getting ridiculous, especially when they are in front of you going up the stairs. That is all you see is their a$$ in your face.
