Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx got his blond fix in Vegas last weekend. The “Ray” star’s first target was “Dancing With the Stars” beauty Stacy Keibler. “She was bent over his lap, and he had his hands all over her body,” said a spy at the preview of Noah Tepperberg’s Lavo nightclub Friday night. “
The next day, he hit the Tao Beach pool, where he locked his radar on “Jericho” actress Ashley Scott. She, too, seemed resistant to his charms. So, that night it was back to Lavo, where we watched Foxx pull up to the bumper of another blond.

To everyone who is saying, “let him (or anyone) date who s/he wants…” that sounds good on paper.
However, it is undeniable that historically, white women have been put on a pedestal/overvalued, and black women have been undervalued, to say the least. This disparity in value is still evident today. And NO, it is not because something is wrong with all black women.
Yes, history is behind us, but not far enough behind us that the self-image of black people has recovered from the damage that was done. What this means is that many black men (and women) think white is better – and it influences their dating choices.
Statistically, there are still more black men dating white/non-black women, than black women dating white/non black men. (The trend is changing, but the numbers are still glaringly uneven…)
White people: It is not racist for black people to express frustration and disappointment over interracial dating. We understand that black self-hatred is very real and can be the reason black people date interracially. Our cultural issues and complexities are something you cannot understand, because you don’t live it. So – show some respect, put on your thinking cap, and know your history before you contribute to a discussion on race, and stop trying to say that “all things are equal” ’cause they’re not. Certainly, as a country we have come a long way, but we still have a long way to go.

why is it self hate??? per example, if you wanted to go after only rich successful men (be it white, black or other) than its safe to say that you are a gold digger right. even though you might have actually had a liking to couple of them. Just because you date somebody of a different race or status does not define who you are. it never has, and it never will. you can sit up here all day and say that, but like i said, that point has no validity. If a black man chooses to have only white women around him, no matter for what motives, then believe me, that is his God given right. just like your choice to look down upon it is your god given right. The byproduct of this results in the false understanding of what real men are and what their duties entail which is why there is a substantial amount of African-American women who are gravitated to “thugs”. Other reaons as to why black males engage in relationships with women of other races is the obesity rate, which is a big problem, literally.
Black women need to learn that long are the days when women were able to catch a catch, based solely on your blackness. I date whomever is the most qualified.

I have found that when it comes to the “s*****y attitude” you are referring to, it is a caliber issue – and I *****ure you, there is a male equivalent that has made me run far and run fast.

But I think that a lot of the problem is that women of color often do a lot of the damage to themselves when it comes to relationships. I mean hell, Just watch Maury Pauvich’s show (You are not the father) and you’ll see what I mean. And as far as that goes, black women say that there are no “good” black men out there anymore, hell we’ve always been here, it’s just that you were so busy trying to screw all of the thugs and “Gangstas” who would stop selling dope long enough to pull your nasty ***** crusty drawers down to give you a case of the sticky panties, that you never saw us! (Now don’t get me wrong, I love black women!(I have a black mother) But for a long time, they didn’t love me.(Or if they did they had a hell of a way of showing it!) But on the other hand, now that I drive a Hummer to work, I get all kinds of play from sisters now, but when I was in college, I drove a Chevy Beretta and never got a second look. Now I’m the one who can pick and choose who I want and to be honest before I met my current girlfriend, I got with a lot of women; black, white, asian, and hispanic/latinos, and I always had one rule: IF I get with someone , it’s because I wanted to be with them, and I could give a ***** less about what anyone has to say about it! So in closing, I’ll say that I am not weak, I am most *****uredly not self-hating, (Cause I love the hell out of myself!) and I will get with anybody I damn well please if it makes me happy.
