After two post-scandal years and a bit of swirl action, Morgan Freeman is officially back on the market.
On Wednesday, a judge in Tallahatchie County, Mississippi finalized the divorce between Freeman and his jumpoff’s grandma and wife of 26 years Myrna Colley-Lee. No word on what the courts thought Myrna’s embarrassment was worth though.
William R. Wright, an attorney who represented Freeman, told The Associated Press terms of the divorce are sealed.
“It was done without a trial,” Wright said Friday. “Everybody is glad it’s over.”
Kay Farese Turner of Memphis, Tenn., who represented Colley-Lee, said Friday that both parties “were relieved and pleased with the terms of the settlement.”
At 73, Morgan has shown no sign of slowing down. Let’s hope he stays out of Myrna’s family for good now.
