I miss the old Ice Cube, the socially conscious Ice Cube, the activist, the black male soldier.

White people turned him out in hollywood, smfh. He isn’t the same anymore.

    • Marquis de Sade

      Uhhh, it’s called “GROWIN’ UP!”

Raw Footage was socially conscious ICE CUBE IS MY MAN

  • Sabrina The Teenage Bytch

Loosing the ability to be a activist, and socially conscious is growing up? I called it devolution. I don’t know what backwards world you are from but what you just said was illogical.

He lost two very important attributes that made him an impressive individual. Now ice cube is just another mind droid controlled by the white elite.

    @ Marquis

Not only are you illogical, you are also illiterate.

When did I ever say I was looking for guidance in a figure like Ice Cube?

I respected him because he was a real individual, He spoke about issues that stimulated the minds of black people from his generation. Yes ice cube did go through a phase were he often glamorized “thug culture” however he was still on another level when it came to tackling issues that plague the black community.

And I have never dated a “thug” sweet heart. Pull the sergent willie pete dyck out of your mouth, and remove the his Smegma from between your teeth and get a conscious mind of your own instead of following his weak rhetoric.

And If I’m a “thug worshiper” than you are a ” 500 pound reject Becky worshiper.”

How does it feel knowing that your Becky has enough rolls on her back to feed a Third world country? lol :D

I have to agree with Marquis de Sade, Ice Cube is no activist. Nor are any other rapper out there glorifying a life that does not lead to riches and happiness, but bloodshed, and misery for yourself and your community. How about rapping about working hard and getting an education in order to elevate yourself despite your background. How about encouraging young men to work hard, respect others, and respect themselves. If you really want to prove yourself, do it by showing “them” that their ideas of your worthlessness are BS, and rise above it. I wish there were better role models out there, thank goodness I had a good father who gave me and my siblings an honorable black male role model.
