It’s not the cost, it’s the tackiness. Come on — you can wear a nice dress from the closet, a nice pair of pants, not a baseball hat and jeans. These people probably spent more time picking out their outfit for the club on Saturday night.

And who SPRAY PAINTS a wedding gown? THAT’s what’s ridiculous, and they should be put on blast for making a mockery out of a serious commitment. If you can’t afford a tux, limo, all that – don’t get it. But this isn’t a jokey joke – it’s marriage, ’till death do you part, and should be taken seriously.

Some of y’all need to get off your high azz horses. If the couple likes it what the HELL does it matter what they wore, how the decorations looked, what type of food they served, etc. The wedding is for the couple. You don’t have to like anything about their wedding, but respect the fact that they cared enough about one another to get married.

That’s the problem with us as a people — too damn busy trying to keep up with the jones impressing folks taking out loans to pay for a wedding folks damn well know they can’t afford. At least this couple won’t be starting off their married life in debt like some of you high falutin NEGROES who think you have to drop bank on a wedding in order for it be significant. Spending a grip on a wedding ain’t decreased the divorce rate in this country NOT one bit. So stop worrying about trivial crap like the cost of a wedding and focus on loving your partner which is what really counts at the end of the day.

i don’t even have anything negative to say. they’re GETTING MARRIED! that’s a hell of lot more than some folks are doing these days. anybody who takes that step gets my respect…whether that step is taken in cusotm tailored suit or airbrushed tees. oh and the little girl with the veil is adorable.

Why are we always hatin’? It certainly is a lot better than spending thousands of dollars and divorcing before everything is paid for. They at least got to the altar. Lots of folks can’t say that anybody cared enough to take the stroll with them.
