MC Hammer may not have been smart about his finances, but unless he did something to jay z, why is jay even disresecting those those paved the way before him?? I never see white people draggin down the ones before them, not even when they were crazy prejudice!!!

This is upsetting! Obama being the president STILL everybody acting stupid.

He called that man Jay-Hoe and it serves him just right. I can’t wait untill the 31 so I can lol. Jayho better be glad people called him out on the illuminati. At first his raps were getting weak. Now due to all this illuminati hoopla it gives his washed up a.s.s. something to talk about on a track. Without that by now he would have been done way earlier this year!

    • rwizzle..2011

KELLY…YOU’RE PROBABLY A BEAUTIFUL YOUNG LADY..WITH THAT OUT THE WAY…JAY DIDNT NEED SOME STUPID ILLUMINATI CALIM TO BE THE BUSINESS MAN HE IS…RAPPER THAT HE IS..LYRICIST HE IS…WITH ALL THESE CLOWNS TALKING ABOUT ILLUMINATI…WHERE IS THE PROOF…PLZ!!!? He was bigger than elvis back in the late 80’s though and I cant front I was dancing to them Hammer tunes.

  • joyrptr

I still can’t get behind any man who calls himself Hov (Jehovah). He is not God or a god and sooner or later, God will show him that. Who knows, maybe Hammer is the start of his downfall, cause it’s coming, believe that…

    • Its me Snitches

      Stop Hating on HOV.

    • rwizzle..2011

YOU’RE FUNNY…HE’S THE GOD OF RAP..JUST LIKE I’M GOD IN MY HOUSEHOLD…IT’S JUST A CLEAVER WAY TO SAY ….HEY..THERE’S NO OTHER RAPPER BETTER THAN ME!!! I’M HOV…AND HE DOESNT EVEN SAY JEHOVAH..

    • Divine

      There is only 1 God.

    • cotton

He’s not calling himself God! He means he’s the God of Rap!

    • joyrptr

Maybe you didn’t see the part of my comment that said “or a god”? He can claim to be the god of all camel-lookin-Negroes, but that’s about it.

  • http://bossip liz

I agree with an above commenter. All the people that take shots at Jay-Z and he chose to speak on Hammer he deserves the title Jayho

  • i see

I can say this hammer lost his money trying to help and put alot of people to work what the fuc- has jay shi- done .

  • Lyter

Go away hammer. You’re not going to recoup your funds going after Jigga.

    • Its me Snitches

      lol damn straight

  • Bella

Jay does NOT take a literal stance with his lyrics, they are usually metaphorical. The name “hammer” does not relate to the MC.

    • hmmm_BAPS

um, you obviously didn’t listen to the track/verse. He said

“…And Hammer went broke so you know I’m more focused. I lost 30 mil so I spent another 30. Cause unlike Hammer 30 million can’t hurt me.”

And MC Hammer dropped the MC from his name after awhile … Sooo what “Hammer” do you think he was “metaphorically” speaking of? SMH

    • Here's Johnny

      @ hmmm_BAPS

People like Bella try to make Jay Z sound more intellectual and deeper than he really is. They also make it sound like only true fans can fully grasp an intricate Jay lyric. (GASP)

      Never mind that clown.

  • Sha

    BWAAAAAH!!!!!!

  • dropped the world on my head

hammer lost all his money because he tried to take of people. Buying people clothes, cars, houses is not helping them. Its just enabling them. Ask fantasia. Oh…and bishop was at love night club in dc last night. Guess it was rough getting up this morning after staying up all night partying.

  • Greeneyedbandit

I still love Mc Hammer! If hammer was still in the game,JayHO wouldnt have pulled that. Done made hammer come out his choir robe! lol

Why must Jay Z diss Hammer? I am sick of these rappers dissing each other for no reason at all. Jay Z makes black men look bad by being so petty and I don’t blame Hammer for responding.

    • koolvakat

Is the truth really a diss? just saying

    • hmmm_BAPS

@ koolvakat … It was slightly a dis.s. To me, Jay was saying Hammer went broke so know he’s more focused learning from Hammer’s mistakes, so he lost 30 mil and but spent another 30 to flip … but when he said “unlike Hammer 30 mil can’t hurt me”, that was the dis.s … I don’t know if that was a big enuff of a diss to get mad over but Hammer felt it was.

    • Txhustla15

Yeah poor hammer same one that decided instead of responsible money management or investing to basically bankroll a entire city and endlessly give out loans to family and money grubbin “friends”. While his heart was in the right place, end of day it was on his shoulders….

  • I See Phonies from a Mile Away

Hammer lost his money on his people, Jay Z makes his money off his people how can u talk about how anybody lost their money when u made more killing your people? Oh how soon do we forget where we came from. Unity people Unity

  • I See Phonies from a Mile Away

    lol @ planning retaliation record.

  • Pam

It a shame that ugly ppl like Jay-Z walking around!!! Can Bey buy him some chapstick .

  • Greeneyedbandit

  • JST

Not a true diss.. Hammer wants to use this as an opportunity to revive his rap career! I wouldn’t want to make the mistake that Hammer did either..

  • xedos

i would be mad if i was hammer
how the fvck you blew $30 million

  • xedos

As quiet as its kept, MC Hammer opened the door for hip-hop to the world. All of those white and asian folks who hawk hip hop music today, got on board with the genre through “Please Hammer Don’t Hurt’em”, the baggey Hammer pants and the Granted Hammer dance moves. Hammer wasn’t much of a rapper, in his day, but he had style and charismatic appeal which made you want to get up and shake something on the dance floor. Plus, his live performances were unequaled for their showmanship and fervor. Hammer essentually widened the base of hip-hop heads, which allowed a struggling music artform to expand and grow.

      so true
Hammer played his part and Now JayZ must do his part in Hip Hop

So often everyone say Hip Hop is struggling but I am not sure that statement is true. Hip Hop is like all artforms and must be continuously renewed. This is why creativity is so important to art and music.

I am glad for all the new talent that is reviving, rejuvenating, and refreshing Hip Hop. We can always expect changes, growth, and evolution in all art and music. The music aligns with the politics, economics, and societies of any given time.

Hammer is ready to capitalize on MC Hammer by Rick Ross and use So Appalled by JayZ as a jumpoff.

Each Artist’s Rap Style is so unique to that Artist. Rap is not built on exactly what the style of the past was. The Style is always new and fresh. The Style tells the story for present and future purposes. The Style that JayZ brings to the music scene is for this day and time. JayZ has a well-developed Style.

No matter how many Rappers are on stage at the BET Awards, they all tell the story in a different style.

Much to my surprise was MC Hammer drug habit/problem, and I learned this fact in the Rap song MC Hammer by Rick Ross. I would say the drug habit had more to do with the bankruptcy than helping the poor. I do not see the drug habit as a normal part of overhead of running the business. The drug habit may also include transportation, storage, lodging, security, and miscellaneous costs at enormous amounts. How much does it costs to take care of the poor for a limited time? See MC Hammer interviews for more details on his lack of specific and accurate details of contributions to the poor.

The last time I saw MC Hammer on TBN, MC Hammer said he had nasal/allergy problems and was working in the Christian ministries.

Good for MC Hammer and the part he has played in Hip Hop.
Now Hip Hop Rap is moving toward higher heights and deeper depths. Hip Hop Rap is becoming more unified, uniformed, and significant and moving toward a complete movement.

Each Rapper has his/her own Style and way of presenting the Rap. More success and power to Hip Hop Rap and Rappers
