Travis Barker and DJ AM are in critical condition:
Former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and a popular disc jockey were critically injured in a Learjet crash in South Carolina that killed four people, authorities said Saturday. Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said the plane carrying six people was departing shortly before midnight Friday when air traffic controllers reporting seeing sparks. The plane went off a runway and crashed on a nearby road, she said. Hospital spokeswoman Beth Frits said Barker and DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, were in critical condition at a burn center in Augusta, Ga., about 75 miles southwest of Columbia.

This is crazy! I just saw the footage on MSN and everyone else of course died on the plan but them. A witness said that they were thrown from the plane and were on fire in the road. Both were trying to pat the flames off of each other. Everyone should care because Travis Barker AND DJ AM have always bigged up hip hop. All hip hop artists love Travis and he always is accessble. I hope they have a speedy recovering and pull through this tragic situation.

What should have been a day for celebration turned into a nightmare for Chris Baker’s family. Travis Barker’s pal and business partner who went by “Lil’ Chris,” was on his way home to be by his wife’s side in time for the birth of his second child when he died in a private plane crash in South Carolina last night, E! News has confirmed.
Although DJ AM (born Adam Goldstein) “was completely terrified and traumatized” from the tragic plane crash, he was conscious long enough to call his mother from the ambulance to let her know what had happened. While Travis Barker suffered burns from the waist down, DJ AM suffered severe burns to his face. He is currently in a doctor-induced coma so he can “undergo skin grafts in an attempt to repair some of the extensive burn damage,” reports Us Weekly.

Jermaine Dupri visited Travis at the hospital yesterday and he said that he is in good spirits and resting. Mandy Moore visited DJ AM and reported the same.

I like Travis… I did hear on the news that he was burned from the waste down. Poor thang! I wish them both the best, and my love goes out to their families. If there were any other survivors, I wish the same to them as well.
