Revs. like Wright, Jackson and Sharpton, depend on people remaining unenformed, easily excitable, and angry. Along with opporunity, needs to come self responsibility, and independence.

Now Republican talking heads like Neil Cavuto of Fox are also blaming minorities (black people) for the subprime problem. Wow to think that poor blacks can cause the crash of the US economy and subsequently bring the world economy to its knees. Just imagine what we can accomplish if we harness our power to force the white supremist powers that be to deal with us fairly or else.

McWhorter has already said that he supports Obama. He may have criticisms against some elements of African-American life, but my only complaint against him is that he married a white woman but pretends he doesn’t understand why that might make him less than an “expert” on black issues.
