I agree with y’all ladies with the “not sticking around if he cheats” rule, whoever, sometimes forgiving a cheating partner makes the relationship grow stronger. At least in my case it did. It actually shows you where you 2 went wrong and grow on how to repair the devestating effects of the infidelity. I think that is what Shaq and Shaunie is doing and I applaud them however contrary to what I said, there is a rule to cheating: Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, and if I am dumb enough to let you fool me a 3rd time, that’s ya ***** Ni**a. Not all black men bring this to the table so let the baggages gooooo. There was a point in time where we held ourselves at a hard standard. When dating become friends before any kind of sex. Be able to tell jokes and hang out. That way you know that man. We have to shape how we want men to act. We as women have to realize we have a lot of control. Get your own house and car. Dont wait for a man to get that for you or dont try to take it from that man. Be you have your life in order before you try to have a relationship. The very most important thing is be a wife before a mother. Try that first.

I feel you I have had my man cheat and have a lil thing. But I dont blame myself I blame him because when he was lacking I was adult enought to try and talk to him about it. And he cheated on me with an ugly thing. But anyway I made him pay for what he did and he did kiss my ***** and do a whole lot for me. So I had to weigh my choice after 5 months of his begging. Am I happy. Not really. But I know him and what he will and will not do… But my day will come. And it is coming soon. I am not telling women to stay with your man when he cheats but weigh it out. She was just a sex thing. And he goes above and beyond for me. But never forget. I surely dont.

I hate when they they do it and with a ugly thing at that. Mines was way different and far worse cuz he cheated sexually, orally and emotionally with this ugly thing and on top of that he told her he was single. He didnt even have the nerve to admit he had a girl. That was so *****ed up. But I sat down and thought about it, and all my girls was like leave his *****, and I had to think. Should I take advise from these girls who aint got no man, and just wanna see me single like them? or do I listen to my heart and work it out? and I listened to my heart. Same thing here with the ugly chick and has a ug baby by her. Now he is mad as hell because she is ignorat. I feel like that is what he get for *****ing around on me with a ugly ***** and had an ug well a baby by it. He is paying for it by me. Now the chick is mad and saying he does more for my son then her’s. For one I live with him and he has been around my son for 3 years. She doesnt let him see his son but one day out of the week. Ofcourse he is going to do more for my son he is in his household and sees him everyday. But you can never foreget about what they have done never.
You women are strong…I don;t think I could do it. Trust is a foundational part of the relationship, if you can’t be trusted, then why bother? You’ll always wonder, is he at it again? I am glad that you weighed the options, but still never sell yourself short…The only issues in my relationship were ever only about differences in opinions, in regards to finances. We never had any infidelity issues…I don’t think I could want him, after knowing he had been with somebody else…I would be reminded everytime I look at him..No, I’d have to move on…..However, you ladies are still young and have plenty of time. If it works out, I ‘m happy for you. Only one thing, I ask: Please always make sure that you are not selling yourself short by staying, somewhere, if you are not happy…Someone else WILL come along, that might not have those same character flaws…Life is diificult enough going to school, working, holding down the expenses of living, for me payroll and a whole lot of other responsibilities. If you don’t have to worry about that, you can spend that time getting ahead, Mr. Right will still be there, at the end, and you’ll be happier, with more as well. First off there are many opinions on the website about what you would do if this and that. This is their lives and guess what only they have to live it. If you believe in God you have to forgive. Yes adultry is a sin and if God can forgive us of sins why can’t humans. Flesh will fail you everytime. It is important to look into what both parties did to lead to the straying. I am not saying stay with a man or leave a man–your life is your life. I am not the judge of that. Someone said it earlier…ok you leave what if the next 10 people cheat on you as well. Yes–have your standards but understand that everyone has flaws. Not to give men excuses but women cheat as well. What matters is if it happens then steps are taken to repair the relationship and if they are happy then who are we to judge their situation. I think they are a great couple. Shaq seems to make her laugh and in the end that is what is going to matter enjoying each other’s company.

I can feel you on that. Just ask yourself these questions.Are you with him to show HER something out of spite? Or are you with him because he has been in your sons life (and yours) for X number of years? At the end of the day, you can say that you don’t think about it or have time because your working but I bet you are at work blogging about this situation. If not, it is still on your mind. I feel that this situation should be addressed because of your emotional state will not be pretty letting it prolong. Your son is only going to hurt more having him around that much longer because in the end he won’t have you ( I’m *****uming). Lastly, his baby that he has by this other woman is in the middle of a big mess because he didn’t ask to be here and with her being foolish in her ways keeping him away and you planning his (oh so deserving) revenge its only going to hurt the kids in the long run.

he cheated, she cheated, marriage is about more than manogomy (sp), everyone makes mistakes and you have to forgive if you want forgiveness. For those of you who don’t understand why Shaunie is sticking around are probably not ready for marriage. This has less to do about money than anything. If you marriage is just about who you are having sex with, It will not likely last. There has to be more there. Marriage is not about each person doing the right thing all of the time, but knowing how to keep it together when they don’t do the right thing.
