It might not be a black/white issue, but it definitely is a male/female issue. The media may not be making as big a deal about this relationship, but if this had been a male (especially a black male), this page would have been lit up with comments about how nasty it was. I still don’t understand why it’s okay for women but not for men. Depending on how you choose to look at it, it’s either okay regardless or it’s a sin regardless. Why is there a distinction drawn?
Sounds to me like Dan hasn’t been accepted as a gay black man in America. So sad. Live ya life boo don’t worry about acceptance from no one that is irrelevant. I think you are absolutely right about the double standard but oh well. People should start living for there own happiness and stop worrying about everyone else opinion.
