As someone said previously, many of the artists today are very self-centered. They are more focused on the almighty dollar than anything else. The songs sound the same.

I like some of the songs by Kanye, Rihanna, Jay-Z and Beyonce, who I think are the biggest artists right now. However, I find myself leaning more toward music that came out at least 30 years ago. None of these artists really have ‘IT’ in my opinion.

Michael Jackson has been my favorite singer for most of my life. I’ve seen several artists go and come and have never gotten closed to being as iconic as MJ, the Beatles and Elvis. In my opinion, it’s more about the music business itself than the artists; they’re the ones responsible for putting out the junk music we have today.I think they may be scared of another artist like MJ ’cause they may lose power and MJ, at one time, had a lot of power.
