Rapper DMX has been admitted to a Florida hospital for “fear of a stroke”, according to internet reports. The hip-hop star – real name Earl Simmons – was allegedly taken to the emergency room at a hospital in Aventura, Florida on Monday (22Sep08). He will reportedly remain in doctors’ care through his scheduled court appearance on Tuesday (23Sep08) in Arizona – where he was set to appear on charges of theft. According to celebrity website TMZ.com, his attorney has drafted a letter to the judge on the case, detailing the rapper’s condition. DMX also faces several animal cruelty and drug possession counts in the state.
This looks suspect, X is pulling the “stroke card”, so he can smoke some more yay. Just head to Arizona and take care of your demons Earl. If he really did have a stroke, it was brought on by excessive hits of Rocks. That fool is out in Florida getting blasted….”Dear God we wonder can you save him”.

Sidenote: I almost caught X slippin a few years ago in LA. He was in Jerry’s Deli, no security, and standing about 7 feet in front of me. I’m a lawyer, and the truth is, his medical case is probably legit. I haven’t looked at the link but based on his lifestyle his BP is probably sky high and the threat of a stroke is very real. I’d be surprised if he hasn’t already suffered a stroke or a heart attack at some point in his life based upon his out-of-control drug history and lifestyle.
Moreover, him being in a doctor’s care won’t prevent AZ from bringing charges. There are plenty of procedural devices to prevent justice from being thrwarted by convalescing defendants. If there weren’t we’d have thousands of cracked out *****s up in hospital beds frontin’ on the daily…

This man has a drug problem that seem to get worse after Alijah died in 2001 after her death he seem to have given up. My prayers are with him and his family that he gets the help he needs. He is a very sick man right now and bossip if your not going to be sensible you should stop reporting his story because he may have family reading this site.
