With four weeks to go until “Loud” hits store, and the album still not catching more of a buzz than the raggedy red rag on her head, Rihanna’s dumping her manager for the guaranteed publicity that is a deeper association to Jay-Z.
Rihanna has joined Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, the management arm of his business empire.
Rihanna made the announcement to the Associated Press and said that she was elated to make the change in management. “[I’m] so excited to take this next step in my career,” Rihanna told the AP in a statement.
Jay-Z signed her to Def Jam and served as a mentor to her early in her music career.
Since, she has evolved into one of the biggest names in music and entertainment.
Rihanna also said that she’s starting Rihanna Entertainment to “merge all of her businesses, including music, film, fragrance, fashion and book ventures.”
You hear that? That’s the sound of a Little Willow x Rihanna collab in the making. And the stench of JC Penney perfume is what you smell.
