Rihanna is going the cliche clothing line route. According to Livesteez.com:
Rihanna is set to follow in the footsteps of fellow pop star Beyonce’ and launch her own clothing line. The “Disturbia” singer, who is a frequent front-row guest at runway shows, has confirmed she is working on her own designs. The sexy star has already dabbled in the accessories industry – she put her name to a range of umbrellas earlier this year to coincide with her international hit of the same name. “I can’t say when it will be released, but it’s definitely going to happen. I’m not one to rush into anything. I want to take my time”. Earlier this year, Rihanna hinted she was pondering a fashion line, saying, “There might be a clothing line on the horizon, maybe underwear.” The star has also previously teamed up with retail chain H&M to design a range of casual wear as part of the “Fashion Against Aids”.
We are not mad at her, most artists do not dress or look the part of a “Fashionista”, but she does. Rihanna is always at the shows, looking edgy, and fly. We do not know how much longer her punk/goth steez will be the ish…so she needs to hurry up and drop the line while it is still hot.

I could most definitely care less. I don’t want to walk around looking like her. I believe everyone should have their own sense of style. She just copies others in the industry and dubs it her own.

Do we really need another celebrity fashion line? Sure RiRi dresses fab but that doesn’t mean she has ths skills to design. I see celebs that are fly from head to toe but when it comes to their clothing lines, they suck. Yeah, i’m talking about Kimora, Bey and JLo. They are fly on the red carpet but their clothing lines are weak. I won’t judge until I see it but I doubt I will be impressed with this one.
Don’t they mean her STYLIST is coming out with a clothing line, cuz this child sure doesn’t dress herself.

On the other hand, I am anxious to see what her clothing line will look like. Hopefully it will be affordable for folks who like her style. A stylist can create all day, but if the model/celebrity/customer doesn’t wear it well, it won’t fly. So I’ll stay on the sidelines, and stay in “wait and see” mode…
