See rappers: it DOES pay off to be a clean cut boy with no arrest record.

Drizzy Drake made GQ Magazine’s 15th Annual Man of the Year list. And he’s the only brown person on the list.

It seems like more than just the streets (and tweets) have been paying attention to Drake’s meteoric rise. Along with vets like actors Jeff Bridges and James Franco, comedian Stephen Colbert and Woman of the Year awardee, Scarlet Johansson, Drake’s taken home GQ’s coveted “Breakout of the Year” award.

Although it’s an honor to be listed among Hollywood’s elite, this isn’t Drake’s first at the party. Last year, he, along with rappers Wale and Kid Cudi, were named “Gangsta Killers of the Year” for their music’s anti-tough-guy raps.

GQ’s list IS a little suspect though: yes, it includes Vice President Joe Biden and NYC’s billionaire mayor Mike Bloomberg… but Kid Rock somehow made it too.
