Power 105.1 has dropped longtime morning show host Ed Lover. Ed made the announcement via Twitter yesterday:

Ed’s morning co-host Malikah Mallette will be moving to the midday slot and in the meantime rumors are abuzz that a new team will be taking over including Miss Info, former WPHI, Philadelphia morning man Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy.

We’re not sure where those rumors are coming from because our sources tell us it’s not Miss Info that Power is bringing in…

Angela Yee

But actually Angela Yee of Sirus/XM “Shade 45 In The Morning” and “Lip Service”.

This could get real interesting.

Stay tuned because we hear Power 105.1 will be making the big announcement Monday.
