Some people really should put better thought into their life choices.

A man accused of stealing a car by driving it through a glass showroom door while most people were home digesting turkey, was caught when he ran out of gas, according to an Albany newspaper.

Soon after the theft, Jacory Phillips was arrested in Early County by officers who were called to a gas station where he allegedly was begging for gas money, the Albany Herald reported on its website Saturday.

Police told the newspaper that Phillips broke into Five Star Nissan on Oglethorpe Boulevard Thursday night, then drove through the doors in a 2011 Nissan Altima, according to the article.
