Random Ridiculousness: Joe Camel Swagger Jacking Lawsuit Near Settlement

Jay-Z is ready to pay up for a swagger-jacking lawsuit brought by wrestler Diamond Dallas Page:

The trademark infringement lawsuit brought by former WCW World champion Diamond Dallas Page against hip hop mogul Jay-Z (and a number of Jay-Z’s companies, including Roc-A-Wear clothing, Rocawear Licensing, Urban Menswear LLC, and Roc-A-Fella Records, among other) is close to a settlement according to recent court documents filed in the United States District Court of California, Central District.

The two sides came to a settlement “in principle” on 6/15 following a lengthy mediation and are expected to present that settlement to the court on 8/10. If the court signs off on it, the case will then be dismissed. In the lawsuit, Page alleged that his “Diamond Cutter” hand gesture had been infringed upon by Jay-Z in a number of Jay-Z’s business endeavors.

SMH at ‘Diamond’ Dallas Page going to every club throwing up the ‘diamond cutter’ like it’s the shit. He’s like “bi*ch, you’re not throwing up the ROC, that’s my shit”. His wife probably told him about the ROC sign, look how happy ‘Diamond’ and his girl are in the picture. This will probably be his true life accomplishment: having Jay-Z co-sign the diamond cutter.
