The Bible says honor your mother and honor your father. It doesn’t have stipulations that go with that. Holding people accountable for past transgretions is GODS duty. We are to forgive and to forget. Oprah was bought into this world by her mother, in other words there would be no Oprah if it were not for her mother bringing her into this world. GOD blessed Oprah with riches not her mother. What she does with her money is her business. The bible says too much is given, much is expected. Oprah needs to seek wisdom in finding a solution to this matter. I personally think that her mother should receive an yearly allowance. If Oprah does this for her and she blows it, then it’s on her not Oprah.

It is already well known that Oprah does not communicate with her mom. As a young girl being molested and raped in her moms house by family as well as strange men. Her dad is the one who rescued her from her moms house. He is a humble man who does not even seek money from his daughter. He is happy just knowing that she can more than take care of herself. God bless Oprah & her dad. God help her mother!

gotta be real, it’s a lot of family members, even moms, who don’t deserve a dime of their childrens money….especially if they got themselves in the mess.

unfortunately, I would have a hard time not paying for my moms to get out of bad situation…..but something like this, where she tried to live above her pay grade……she can suffer.

It is amazing how the mother most probably got hold of all this credit by Oprah’s name, yet didnt do anything productive with the credit and now seems to want a daughter she neglected to bail her out.

Child or parent, if one has a useless blood relative, just do not bail them out, until they show some responsibility, work ethic or something of some substances otherwise it would never end.

The mother rode her luck when Oprah was sexually abused, and did nothing about it…now she seems to be riding her luck again. AGAIN, wasn’t there some crap ass story of her mother suffering from dementia and Oprah wouldn’t look after her?

First and foremost Oprah retired her mother years ago. She use to speak of her mohter probably before some of you were born. Her mother was not a good mom in so many words when Oprah was raped by her cousin boyfriend in the same house with her mother her mother was not there for her. Her mother would send her back and forth between her dad and her grandmother. So, where does that leave her relationship with her mother “there is not a relationship to have”..Retiring her mother was more than generous and anyway what in the hell does she do in Milwaukee, Wisconsin that she needs to rack up a bill with Valentina to over 100 grand…Come on!!!

The fact still remains is that her mother is a grown woman and she knows better. oprah for many years would not spend crazy amounts of money like that, but she worked very hard for everything she has and she owes NOBODY anything. She went from being bounced from place to place, raped and molested, pregnant and birthed a son that died, went on to graduate from highschool and went to college and now she is the most powerful woman in the world. It is hers to do whatever she wants with it.

Maybe I have a whole nother perspective of a mother…As long as I have…my momma gonna have…if I’m flossin’…my momma and my daddy gonna floss…You don’t even see Oprah with her mother…the only person you see her with is that chick that is joined at her hip.

Thank GOD, I was raised to honor my parents…

I SMH @ how some of you feel about your mother…

I sure hope she can take that money with her to the other side.
