Ozzy Osbourne Hospitalized After Manicure Gone Wrong

Ozzy Osbourne came thisclose to losing his hand and possibly his LIFE…all over a little nail buffing and black nail polish.

According to Page Six, the 69-year-old rock icon had to cancel several of his October tour dates after contracting a serious infection in his right thumb. The infection spread across the rest of his hand while his thumb swelled to the size of “a lightbulb” according to Ozzy.

The performer had to have emergency surgery to salvage his hand. Doctors claim that if the infection had spread into his bloodstream, it could have cost him his life. Medical professionals told Ozzy that they believe the infection came from a manicure.

His wife Sharon shared with the rest of the ladies on The Talk that Ozzy had a simple cut/pulled skin right on the edge of his thumbnail…but he just left it and went on about his business.

Sheesh. Well we be he’ll pay a bit more attention to things like that in the future.
