Bun in the Oven Swag

Posted by Bossip Staff

Her royal “Queendom” Erykah Badu is starting to show signs of life growing in her belly. Even pregnant, she still has that quirky, ‘out-of-the-box’ steez on lock.

Photos of Blu Cantrell still looking like a crackhead and Jay-Z leading the globe are just a click away…

  23. Keeping It Real

    Three kids by three different daddy’s?…it appears that Ms. Badu is trying to secure her future…LMAO!!

  24. Aunt Viv

    Blu Cantrell why?

    Jay looks good in a suit.

  25. Keeping It Real

    @Roni…Beauty at its best? They got streetwalkers that present themselves better than this broad…lol

  26. Nina Knows

    To the people saying “damn what # baby is this?”… Um why not? She cant have babies if she want to? Is there a limit now? SMH. Funny I never hear that ***** about Bradgelina..lol

    Funny the double standard with women and men. *****ODY says ***** when a man has babies by different women. If you can take of them, what’s the problem.

    And they gonna be confused how?

    ANYWAY….. CONGRADULATIONS ERKYAH.. When that Next album dropping?

  27. @Nina Knows

    Umm…where did you get the idea that all of us here have nothing to say towards fathers with four kids by different women? And where are you getting from this post that we have a problem with the number of kids a woman can have?

    Our gripe is that it’s with different fathers. NO MATTER how many ways you try to flip it, it just doesn’t sound right.

    I don’t know her situations, but maybe she doesn’t believe in abortion…?

  28. kiko

    She is such a beautiful mother!! I want those shoes miss Badu!

  29. Aunt Viv

    I have concerns about women with children from several different men, as well as men who have children from several different women :(

  30. Nina Knows

    @Re

    Ummm, if you dont feel that way, apparently I wasnt referring to you. If you scroll up, you will see comments like “damn what # is this” as if that’s a bad thing.

    No matter how many ways YOU try and flip it, it doesnt sound right. I have my own opinion, and I dont see a major problem. It may not be ideal to me, but the main thing is that their being taking care of. other than that, it aint my business.

    True, maybe she doesnt believe in abortion, or maybe she just wanted another kid. In her interviews she seems pretty sure and complete about her baby making decisions.

    Not trying to battle with the situation. But I am entitled to my own opinion. I respect your opinion, but dont down-play mine,because you dont agree. It’s cool either way.

  31. *****CATFUN

    BLU CANTRELL…LOOK LIKE A USED CONDOM.

  32. Fahtima

    ***** it, she can do what ever she decides to, and how can anyone say otherwise or judge her decision? at least she can give her kids a future to look forward to, and someone they can respect, dont you think we need more people on earth who have the opportunity to grow surrounded by knowledge and the thirst to posses knowledge, knowledge is more powerfull than any possesions or money, wouldnt you agree?

  33. CV

    I think Blu Cantrell looks good, she doesn’t look like a crackhead at all.

  34. yanib

    @NinaKnows….I have a problem with a woman with multiple babies by multiple men, just as I have a problem with men with mulitiple babies by multiple women. It’s stank no matter who does it, but it’s just more visible when a woman does it because kids resulting from these type of situations are usually raised by their mother. What kind of example are you setting for your children? That it’s o.k. to procreate everytime you think you’re in love? To the male child it’s o.k. to sow your seed and keep it moving? To the female child it’s o.k. to have your eggs fertilized by a dude that’s gonna keep it movin’? You have to think it’s o.k. because you’re doing it. Will your children respect you when they’re old enough to understand? What about if the kid’s dads don’t parti*****te in their lives equally? One dad is great, another o.k. and another a total deadbeat…..

  35. Keeping It Real

    I dont care how much knowledge “mother earth” Erykah Badu claims to possess and how much incense she burns…having all of kids by different fathers is going to cause a lot of problems. Especially for the kids. She will be taken care of financially though from all of the child support checks she is going to get…since she is no longer relevant as an artist..lol

  36. lala#1

    1) Another baby? Can Erykah have one for me as well?

    2) Why is Blu still relevant?

    3) Good for Jay.. he has definately grown into a man

  37. I'm Just Me- Buffalo Bills (4-0)

    Love Erykah! For real!!

    Loving Jay

    Why is the girl with Blu rocking that Band-Aid s***** on her leg? Never a good look ladies!

  38. @Nina Knows

    Oh naw, you’re entitled to your opinion.

  39. i like butt*****ing pregnant woman,i really do.

  40. MS.NYTX

    again…damn she fertile, if ya gr***** dont grow sprinkle her ***** on there…watch it magically sprout……lol

  41. Nina Knows

    @yanib

    ok I understand what you saying. But those reasons are not always the case. She has said herself that her children are very well taken care of and their fathers are in their lives. No matter what a person feels about it, is only opinion. The facts still remain.

    Does having the same father in every case guarantee you child no problems or confusion. No it doesnt. If the parents are neglectful then they just are. Everything else is just p*****ing judgement onto another person.

    It is not uncommon for men/women to have children from more than one partner. This is extremely common. How do you know someone just planted a seed and keep it moving. Not being with the other person doesnt mean you will be a bad parent.

    I do agree it would be ideal to have kids by the same partner, but life doesnt always work that way. *****ODY knows how those kids will feel or what they will experience, all of that is just pure speculation.

  42. elle

    Erykah is doing what works for ERYKAH. Do you, Badu! Congrats!

  43. Nina Knows

    What’s so extremely fertile about 3 kids, millions of people have 3 kids, that is not unheard of.

    Having 18 like that family on discovery channel, Now that’s another story!

  44. Trini Chica BK (AKA) As a matter of Fact

    What’s wrong with having three kids? She has money to support them. That’s her damn business. It’s the one’s without any money having a “thousand” kids that are retarded. Three kids is the ideal number for a married couple. DUH!!

  45. K-mia

    Luv Erykah!! she’s so pretty

  46. Erykah dances to the beat of a different drum…she’s either sporting some mile-high doo or wearing some crazy looking gear – determined not to be a robot following the m*****es…you gotta love this girl.

  47. NU (Product of the Swirl and AINT mad about it)

    I love her….we need her odd ***** back in the business…real talk…

  48. jerryjones

    Damn, maybe some guy will marry her one day, but he has to be real desperate. I can’t picture marrying a selfish ***** woman like this. i know you women have your rights but dam, she is going overboard. i will be real embarr*****ed to know i have 4 siblings and we all have different fathers

  49. Black Beauty

    Congrats Erykah, I hope that #3 is happy and healthy. I am not going to get involved in the baby daddy drama. Jay-Z looks nice. He looks better with the hair.

  50. Black, yet very well educated

    Who’s the latest “Babydaddy” Erykah? Ours is truly a sick and poisoned culture.

    What culture do you belong to?, I’m sure Erykah aint checking for you and your ignorant self hate. Just like a ***** to put themselves on a pedestal that doesnt exsist. SMH.

  53. sepia830

    As long as she is not on welfare, she can have as many babies as she can handle. Yes, it would be nice if they were all by the same daddy….

  54. Kesha: (I BLEED BLACK-N-GOLD) The weather has changed, and so have I...cold/sore throat already :-(

    Hey Daywalker!

    Sorry for the delayed response…M*****a put that whip on me for a minni…thanks for the tip. It helped too! Sore throat is of the devil i believe!!!

    I think the parents should be embarr*****ed, but they never are. They think it’s really cool.

  56. Al-Anon

    Erykah Badu likes to collect souvenirs and mementoes (babies) from her previous boyfriends. She has a baby so she can always remember them fondly.

    I have 4 and three daddies! I take care of all of them and I married the first two dad. I had a deadbeat for the third and I am married to the last and TRUST if I wasn’t married I would keep doing me and taking care of them and hold my head up!!

  58. Jahp

    Erykah Badu looks cute and her shoes are hot.

    who is the world is Blu Cantrell? another socialite?

  59. blaq

    I’ve never heard Eryka speak an ill word about any of her childrens fathers, nor any of them speak ill of her, they all seem to have a great deal of respect for each other and their respective children. I think the example she is setting for her children is to follow your heart and how to handle a situation when things don’t turn out as you plan. For those of you who think this is wrong and embarr*****ing, don’t do it in your life. People who live their life by others opinions are never happy.

  60. GeezyWheezy

  67. kigali (Black Females NEED arranged marriages!!)

    @blaq,

    Here we go again.

    “I think the example she is setting for her children is to follow your heart and how to handle a situation when things don’t turn out as you plan.”

    It is 2008. She is wealthy, has access to all kinds of medical care. She made a decision or three to design of family in this matter. ***** following your heart. Use your dam head. Crack heads follow their heart too your know.

    “For those of you who think this is wrong and embarr*****ing, don’t do it in your life. People who live their life by others opinions are never happy.”

    Childrens’ whose mother lives thier life with complete desregard for thier for them are never happy. How about Erykah try to live her life for her children and what is best for them instead of bed hopping? Do you want your daughter to do that?

  68. SWAG-a-licious

    I respect everyone’s opinion…

    But why when Angelina Jolie have 4 kids with different EVERYTHING..its cool but when Erykah has 3 of her own kids y’all want to disrespect the Queendom(i love saying that!)?

  69. kigali (Black Females NEED arranged marriages!!)

    @Nina Knows,

    Its women like you who have convinced me without reservation that females are completely incapable of leading their families.

    There is a difference between Angelina Jolie adopting children who would otherwise languish in third world orphanages and Erykah Badu making babies with the man of the month.

    No, the traditional family doesnt garuntee functional children but it increases your chances of having functional children. No, having children with 3 different ment doesnt garuntee dysfunctional children but it increases your chances of having functional children.

    This isnt a financial issue. It is a moral one. Just because you have money doesnt give you a p*****. Black women need to stop being so self centered and acting like because they have a little money, a degree, a job doesnt mean they can disregard the needs of their children. Badu needs to raise her children and stop trying to get her ‘Grove Back’ with the flavor of the month rapper.

    “It is not uncommon for men/women to have children from more than one partner. This is extremely common. ”

    Yes, and so is the Clap. What is your point?

    “I do agree it would be ideal to have kids by the same partner, but life doesnt always work that way.”

    This is 2008 not 1958. She has access to all kinds of birth control. Cut that ***** out. She made a decision. A bad one.

    ” *****ODY knows how those kids will feel or what they will experience, all of that is just pure speculation.”

    Actually it isnt. Most studies that have been done shows that children in these situations dont thrive pyschologically, emotionally, or sexually, like thier counter parts who are in more traditional situation.

  70. kigali (Black Females NEED arranged marriages!!)

    @Swagalicious,

    Angelina Jolie has her bioligically children with the same man. She adopted the others. Please read my post to Nina Knows. And why are black females obessed with pointing out what white women do to justify their bull*****? Not so strong and independent after all.

  71. kigali (Black Females NEED arranged marriages!!)

    @Black Man,

    “…black women are not marriage material just ripe for reproduction.”

    It would seem that way.

  72. kigali (Black Females NEED arranged marriages!!)

    @Blaq,

    “Oh here we go again black woman bashing on bossip, how original.”

    What is there not to bash? I bet there are a few black grandmothers shaking they damn head about this bull***** too. They must be bashers as well.

  73. SWAG-a-licious

    @Kigali -

    Would you rather she be un-happily married to have kids? Just because you are un-happily married don’t mean that ALL black women want to join you.

    Erykah could have BEEN MARRIED. DO YOU NOT REMEMBER HOW SHE TURNED ANDRE AND COMMON OUT!! ANDRE STILL AINT RIGHT…BOY PLEASE and Common just got with Serena and stated that he proposed to Ms. Badu and she told him no and she broke his heart.

    She wants and deserve to be happy, and kids are blessings from GOD. Last time I checked GOD don’t make mistakes…only humans. Erykah is not and has never been a follower she is a leader! So you can’t arrange sh&T for her (or me for that matter)! Kick rocks….back to Africa with that Sh&T.

  74. Encyclopedia Brown

    Erykah Badu for Vice President!

  75. SWAG-a-licious

    @ The Prince of Zumunda

    Exactly, Why not comment when Angelina and Madonna go and get other peoples kids and possible ruin their lives…both are crazy and Angelina is not married. Oh…I get it…because they are white…

    Erykah has her OWN children! What business is it of yours of who their fathers are? They are loved! You just want her to satisfy you by telling you (as many women do) that all of her children have the same father…you might not be your daddies son…*****ka outta hea…momma’s baby…daddy’s maybe!! Show me your DNA test before you judge!

  76. Jay get out the damn post, weren’t you just up there???

  77. SWAG-a-licious

    @Black Man

    I know 4 black women who can not have their own children and had to adopt.. poked holes in that theory.

  78. is deputy dogg still gone or is deputy dogg still lurking.

  79. kigali (Black Females NEED arranged marriages!!)

    @Swag-a-licious,

    “Would you rather she be un-happily married to have kids? Just because you are un-happily married don’t mean that ALL black women want to join you.”

    Thats a false choice. You *****ume that if she got married she would be un happy because after all there are only unhappy marriages. What makes you think she is happy now? What makes you think if she got married she would be happy? You dont think these single black mothers are unhappy, lonely, poor, bitter because of decisions that they made? I bet married black mothers are one million times happier than unmarried black mothers. Would you like to make a bet?

    “Erykah could have BEEN MARRIED. DO YOU NOT REMEMBER HOW SHE TURNED ANDRE AND COMMON OUT!! ANDRE STILL AINT RIGHT…BOY PLEASE and Common just got with Serena and stated that he proposed to Ms. Badu and she told him no and she broke his heart.”

    When you dont have shame…up is down and left is right. The only thing the above tells me is that Erykah is just about Erykah and no one else. My points havent been dispoven.

    “She wants and deserve to be happy…”

    She could have been happy without bringing three children into the mix. Are they happy? Why is it just about her and not them? They didnt ask to be born.

    “and kids are blessings from GOD.”

    I never said they were not.

    “Last time I checked GOD don’t make mistakes…only humans. Erykah is not and has never been a follower she is a leader! So you can’t arrange sh&T for her (or me for that matter)! Kick rocks….back to Africa with that Sh&T.”

    Youre off topic rant isnt saying *****. What does Africa have to do with this? Nothing. Youre just a typical black female, selfish, obnoxious, and is only concered about self. Black females need to be introduced to concepts like shame and honor. They are shameless and have no honor.

  80. Nina Knows

    @ SWAG-a-licious….

    I’ll direct my comment to you, sense it appears you are logical, who thinks with realistic intelligence. As for that kigali *****, she’s really not even worth speaking to. She hates who she is, and wants every other black woman to pay in life because she’s a piece of *****.

    a person with good common sense knows that statisics are not true most of the time. Get out in the world and stop sitting up judging people whom you’ve never met, dipping in and acting like you laying down law.

    Bottom line is who the ***** is anybody to tell that gorgeous, smart, beautiful, woman what not to do with her body. Just because that ***** been handed a bunch of sour grapes she trys to spoil it for everybody else.

    Those are the kind of people I dont even waist valued energy on because it’s pointless. Sitting up pointing fingers. Erykah is fine in my book, I’m not God, therefore I will not judge her.

    And like you said God does NOT make mistakes, Especially not in this case. In my opinion those kids are beyond lucky to have such a strong mom like her.

    I loved all your comments by the way.

    Black females are starting to get on my nerves. You call them out on their bull***** and they answer in these four ways: Stop bashing, white women do it too, I have a degree/money, *****hs aint *****.

    Well I tell you what, black females aint ***** either. You hookers are neither strong or indepedent, just arrogant, obnoxious, self centered, and completely intolerable. My only prayer is that you will stop reproducing or have your children adopted and raised by Asians or Nuns in the hopes that you *****es will die out along with your sick values. Only way your children will have a future resembling something worthy of imitation.

  83. uh huh.....

  84. Nina Knows

    kigali

    You do NOT know every Black woman.

    You do NOT know Erykah Badu.

    Every person’s situation is NOT the same.

    Black females this and Black females that, funny you come on a site FULL of Black females and spew hate. I’m sure there are other places were you can be alot less irritated. People like you, should just kill themselves, honestly. Please I beg of you, just slit your wrist already. All the Black women bashing is soooooo old and played out. That’s what makes us (real Black women) so strong, because we fight against the weak and wicked everyday.

    We aint going anywhere, so stop crying about how disgusted you are and just disappear. It should feel like ***** to be you. I feel pity for a person, who obviously hates who they are and put’s so much attention into negativity the way you do.

    All my Black sistas, no matter what situation your in. Big Ups, and much love, honor and respect.

    You can talk ***** all day and night about how many black females get on your nerves, and at the end of the day, your still the dumb ***** who clicked on a blog about a black woman just to be nasty. I believe you are totally obsessed with Beautiful Black Women.

    Kick Big Rocks *****.

  85. uh huh.....

    a person with good common sense knows that statisics are not true most of the time.

    LOL wow at this….

  86. kigali (Black Females NEED to stop Reproducing and contaminating our future!!!)

    @Nina Knows,

    I expected that you wouldnt address any of my points. My guess is that you have never been around people who disagreed with you. You probably lack the mental and intellectual fortitude to defend your arguments.

    So you can stay where it is safe and not have any of your ideas challenged. I take it you will not be going to university?

    In any event, I dont have a problem with judging. I live in a society, with laws, cultural and religious norms and we generally judge people based on those things. In the absence of that, there would be chaos. Now I understand completely why, as a black female, you dont want to judge. You are probably guilty as sin and having to judge makes you responsible for what you say and do. Having to judge means that you too will be judge and you cant deal with that. So long as you arent judging, no one is judging you and you can get away with any moral crime. Nice.

    As an adult, I dont have a problem with those responsibilies. As a wife, and one day a mother, I will have to raise my children with certain values and I hope they are good and they will use them to navigate between what is good and bad in soceity.

    Now black females dont want to judge eachother because they have given up and it is a free-for-all where chaos reigns and no one has to have the strength of character and wisdom to stand by and stand up for what is right.

    I understand in an environment like that your life is made easy. There is no good and no bad. It is all about what feels good and ***** the consequences. It is all about me and my feelings.

    Welcome to the Brave New Black World. I am so looking forward to it. With a community like this, it is no wonder that people can get away with the ‘Stop Snitchin’ phenomena. Not even the criminals can be judged.

  87. kigali (Black Females NEED to stop Reproducing and contaminating our future!!!)

    @uh huh…

    “a person with good common sense knows that statisics are not true most of the time.

    LOL wow at this….”

    What she doesnt know is that is a statistic in and of itself. Good Lord! I need to be more optimistic.

  88. uh huh.....

    Kigali – you just kicked some knowledge…sadly it will be lost because of your moniker.

  89. kigali (Black Females NEED to stop Reproducing and contaminating our future!!!)

    @Nina Knows,

    If you continue to ignore the problems of the black community, they will not just disappear. I know it is hard, it is hurtful, and we will have to admit things about ourselves that we might not want to but you know what, black people have gone through some ***** in this country. We can over come. We just have to be honest. We have to stand for something or we will fall for anything.

    I am encouraging black women to be strong, respectful, indepedent. But it has to be on what is RIGHT, not what feels good. If you arent down with that, just keep quiet. I am apart of the revolution. Are you?

  90. Carlito Brigante - "Favor Gonna Kill You Faster Then A Bullet

    Damn,

    I have officially lost all respect for Erykah Badu, you can’t talk that queen shyt, and then let 3 different niccas skeet in yo eggs…

  91. kigali (Black Females NEED to stop Reproducing and contaminating our future!!!)

    What really trips me out is that black women live by this *****umption that they or any woman would be happier as a single mother. Single mothers dont seem happy to me. They are poorer than their married counterparts, on average. Their children arent as healthy, arent doing as well in school as their counterparts who are married.

    Its like black women love to pile on the obstacles and love to talk about how strong they are.

    Listen sistahs, marriages arent perfect. They are difficult. You have to concern yourself with others beside yourself. It stops being all about you.

    Fine. If you dont want to live that way, it is up to you but dont bring children up in that situation. If you want to be free and single, stay childless. You will have more freedom, more money, and more choices if you just stay childless.

    However, if you are going to have children, TRY marriage first. Your mother probably did it. Your grandmother definitely did it and your great grandmother would have been insane not to have done it. Talk to these women that came before you. Ask them about what their life was like, what is was like to have a husband and father for their children. They arent going to tell you a fairtale but they arent going to tell you a nightmare either.

    Just imagine what imapct that will have on our daughters to see married women. To see men commited to their wives and their children. Do you honestly think that will be bad for them? Imagine how, in a society full of violence, drugs, and all kinds of vices, how much more in control you will be of your children when it is two of you and not one.

    Just a *****ing suggestion.

  92. kigali (Black Females NEED LISTEN TO KIGALI!!) She means well.

    @Carlito Brigante,

    “I have officially lost all respect for Erykah Badu, you can’t talk that queen shyt, and then let 3 different niccas skeet in yo eggs…”

    It is the black female version of NewSpeak. Notice that they have to redefine terms like Queen, strong, and indepedent into some unrecognisible ***** in order to justify their ugly lifestyle. These chicks should have worked for the Propaganda Minstry in the Soveit Union or read George Orwell’s 1984.

    There are people who stand out from others because they dont choose to conform with the m*****es as large. You seem very easy to jump on society’s bandwagon. This ms. fix it attitude is unrealistic. I believe in the right for a man and woman to choose. If a woman/man lives a productive life and finds an acceptable mate,then so be it, get married. But if you find yourself, financially, and emotionally capable of raising a child on your own, I dont have a problem with that either.

    Everything your saying is pure robotic. I guess you have a formula for everything. Do that, and I’ll guarantee you this. The biggest joke, is that you and your co-signer believe every statistic you hear and read about Blacks. I guess Blacks have always been dealt a fair hand in society. You are very one-sided in your attempts to make and prove a point.

    if your logic and scenarios worked then there would be no problems in the world. The leave to beaver ***** is a little childish. I dont recall not one person stating single women were happier. But in reality neither is your so-called married woman.

    Being single doesnt not mean you are not fulfilled in life. and being married does not mean that you are. Since you are so caught up in statistics have you checked out the divorce rate lately?

    You are entitled to your opinion, and I’m damn sure entitled to mine. The only problem I have with your remarks is how you choose to target ALL black women. You speak as if your one as well, so why are you spewing the self hate. Instead of throwing out empty insults, try connecting with some of this black women who are so beneath you. Why dont you be part of the solution instead of ranting and raving and contributing to the problem.

    I see people in need and I help them. And no I dont judge them, because it’s not my place to. That my God’s place to judge individuals. No matter how successful you think you are, *****ody’s ever to far from the curb.

    I pity your ignorance and distain for an entire race of women. Again, at the end of he day, your still posting under a blog that you so-called hate so much. Why are you on here? Dont get me wrong, it’s all free *****e. But why would you want to be on any blog diected or referreing to black women in the first place. Why?

    @Kigali

    The one true issue of our community is the lack of respect, commitment and unity. Our community is plagued with self-righteous individual who spout all the problems and none of the solutions. Single parenthood started way before Erykah Badu and is not only the responsibility of the woman, and this is a shared issue, babies are not made by women alone, there are men who figure into this issue. Men who have not enough respect for themselves to create families for their children, it’s easy to say women wait until you get married, but where is the suggestion for brothers to create families. Are these single mothers single by choice or in relationships with men who don’t feel marriage is necessary for their union. Most mothers intend, hope, plan to be in a relationship with their children’s fathers, but unfortunately this does not work out. The divorce rate is 60%, people do not have the commitment to marriage there once was. The real issue is the fact there is no respect for children, we do not have pride in our own future. Children born out of wedlock are considered unworthy and burdens, this has to change every black child is precious, the first black president of the U.S. is a product of a single mother, so is Jesse Jackson (who is of the grandfather generation) is also a product of a single parent, along with Malcolm X, and many other black significant black people. The message in your gravi lets me know you have no idea as to what the solution is.

  99. kigali (Black Females NEED LISTEN TO KIGALI!!) She means well.

    @Nine Knows,

    I am not talking about a race of black women. I am talking about black women in the Western world, particularly those in America where the problems are most acute. Now if your response to me is to hit rewind and play. Not interested. Appreciate it if you would deal with the substance of what I am saying instead of bobbing and weaving. No pun intended if you wear a weave.

    When you have children it isnt the time to be a “individual.” Be an individual when you are single and childless. When you marry or have children it stops being about ME and starts being about WE.

  100. shantel

    I have lost respect for Erykah. While I applaud single mothers for raising their children by themselves, this is ridiculous.

    To keep proudcing children out of wedlock with different men is irresponsible. It sends the wrong expample for the children.

  101. kigali (Black Females NEED LISTEN TO KIGALI!!) She means well.

    @blaq,

    Actually Obama was raised by a white woman and her white grandparents in Hawaii. Cant take credit for him sistah. Sorry.

    Anyway, this is why I suggest black women have arranged marriages. If they are inable to chose men who are most likely to marry them, they will not be in a position to complain about men not being around to raise the children they make.

    *My solution: involve the oldest members of our community in helping women chose mates.

    You know, if I dont want my children to be molested, I will not make them with a child molester. Likewise, if I want a real/proper father for my children, I will make them with a good black man or any man.

    *My solution: Women need to not hook up with thug negroes who they know have baby mommas, criminal records, straight out of jail, etc.

    Women get pregnant, we have to be the primary care giver of these children. We have the most to win and lose by OUR decisions. Please stop p*****ing the buck ok. How is it that your grandmother and possibly mother managed to pick a good guy who married her and raise the children but it is just an impossibility today? What changed?

    *My solution: Women must consider the consequences of single motherhood before becoming single mothers. Not all of us have Badu money.

    I have half a mind to guess that the reason marriages arent successful these days is the bull***** attitudes of women. I dont think the expectations of men: being the bread winner, the protector, the disciplinarian, has changed.

    The women, on the other hand, have been given a do-what-the-*****-I-want p***** and it has negatively effected marriages. These *****es took a mile when they should have only taken an inch.

    *My solution: When women find themselves in relationships, everything they learned in their women studies cl*****es must be abandoned. They must submit, honor, and respect their men. They must not threaten these men. They must always carry themselves and behavior as ladies and wives even in conflict.

    I’ve offered a plethora of suggestions. But the more oppostion I meet from black women the more extreme I will become. I am at the point where I am going to start giving visas to the Taliban so they can govern the black women in America and instill some kind of fear and modesty in them. Could you imagine them **********as riding around in jeeps just flogging out of pocket females?

    *My suggestion: Dont let it get to this point where we need complete social contols in order to manage our community.

    My solution: Have better attitudes. This is America. You arent a gang raped refugee in some African country. You have very little reasons to be so dam rude and angry.

    My solution: Lose weight if you are obese. No. You are not thick. You are fat and lots of men dont like it. More importantly, it isnt healthy and you know you dont feel good about yourself that big.

    My solution: Start using birth control. Your sexual health It isnt the responsibility of any man. If he doesnt want to wear protection, get up and go home and call your homegirls and talk about that crazy *****h that wanted to hit it raw.

    My solution: Get an education and when you do, dont use it to bash black men. It isnt an oppurtunity to elevate yourself above him.

    My sloution: Stop dressing like hoes.

    My solution: Stop being a loud mouth. Its makes you look so so so so ugly. Its been my personal expiriences that, as a black woman, when I smile and am friendly, 9 out of 10 people respond positively to it. It makes them more confortable and happy and you feel happy doing it.

    My solution: No More Perms. Natural hair is edgy, looks fantastic, and you have so much fun caring for it and watching it grow healthy and happy.

  102. blaq

    @ Kigali

    Many black people have white parents, but they are still black, you negate Obama but what of the rest?

    your solution is to not hook up with thugs, how about telling brother and society in general to stop glorifying the Thug and looking to celebrities for role models. You say to have better attitudes but your attitude is deplorable, there are plenty of good black men out there, but for many they are not required to take responsibility for their actions, black women have been forced into the role of leader, and had to be the bread winner, mother, teacher, and protector all at once, this is the failure of the black man, who finds it easier to chastise the woman than to make changes in their community, I don’t believe in the black woman vs. the black man bull*****. We are equals and equally responsible for the ails of our society. But it is a disease that woman such as yourself offer these one sided solutions that are impossible without self esteem and self respect. Yes women find an honorable respectable man to marry and procreate, men be honorable and respectable and demand the same from your friends and family, A good strong man does not have to demand respect a woman gives it to him freely, but you are not entitled to this just because you have a *****. Sexual health is the responsibility of all parties involved, The black woman you describe is a minority, the product of slavery and racist society, the same as her convict, gun toting, multiple baby having, under-educated black male counterpart. All of your solutions are bull***** except for the finding older people to help you find a good mate. That can be good advice, although many an older woman has encouraged me to date a man based on his vehicle. many of our problems go back generations. When my grandmother and mother were comming up there was a certain standard men were held up to, and the women had the presence of their fathers to show examples and to protect and insist on marriage. Perfect example Laila Ali has had her father in her life, her parents were married and she followed the example. Erykah was the product of a single parent home and repeated that scenario. Now instead of spewing all this hatred (which is evil and not condoned by any religion) spend this time to write a letter to a teenager with no parents and no direction, show love to your community like you said you will receive a better reaction and it will make you feel good. We are not two people man and woman , we are one and it is that respect and unity that will make us grow, and as far as black women in america, we make strides and advancements no other can compete with. I still love you sistah, but your ways are ugly.

  103. kigali (Black Females NEED LISTEN TO KIGALI!!) She means well.

    @Blaq,

    Honestly, you are boring the hell out of me. You are chasing your tail and thus forcing me to chase my own tail. Nothing of what I said was objectionable but instead of you saying, yeah, great advice, you do what is so typical of black women: What about the men?

    Going in circles produce dizzy ***** women.

    Ok, I can go outside of my door right now to where all the gangstas and the dope boys hang out. Why are there so many women there with them? Why do they have groupies? Because there are a bunch of females who celebrate the thug lifestyle. Men are thugs because, in addition to the fast money it brings, it also brings fast women.

    The men will follow the changes women make. Stop turning it around on them. And NO: YOUR SEXUAL HEALTH IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. YOU WILL BE LIVING WITH THE BABY OR THE DISEASE. TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE AND STOP TRYING TO SPREAD THE RESPONSIBILITY TO ALL AND SUNDRY.

    And the black woman I describe are not a minority. I am offering one sided solutions because I am a black woman speaking as a black woman to other black women.

    If your response to any and every criticism is: What about the men?

    We are so lost, irreparably lost.

    “I still love you sistah, but your ways are ugly.”

    The reality is even uglier.

  104. kigali (Black Females NEED LISTEN TO KIGALI!!) She means well.

    @Blaq,

    You and the other recalcitrant women in here are exhausting me. No the problems we have today arent because of racism and slavery. During and after slavery, up until about the 1970s, black families were more intact then than they are now.

    Please stop worrying about the men. They will fall in line as soon as we get our ***** together. They have to. They have no choice but to.

    My theory is that the reason why your granny wanted you to hook up with a man because of his car was because your granny, being very old fashion and traditional, viewed the car as being a symbol of financial success. She probably *****umed that he had that nice car becuase he had a nice education, with allowed him to get a nice job, which allowed him to get a nice car. The point is she still had standards.

  105. FACINGREALITY

    Badu loves her some rappers
