Her royal “Queendom” Erykah Badu is starting to show signs of life growing in her belly. Even pregnant, she still has that quirky, ‘out-of-the-box’ steez on lock.

Photos of Blu Cantrell still looking like a crackhead and Jay-Z leading the globe are just a click away…

    @Nina Knows

    Umm…where did you get the idea that all of us here have nothing to say towards fathers with four kids by different women? And where are you getting from this post that we have a problem with the number of kids a woman can have?

    Our gripe is that it’s with different fathers. NO MATTER how many ways you try to flip it, it just doesn’t sound right.

    I don’t know her situations, but maybe she doesn’t believe in abortion…?

  • kiko

    She is such a beautiful mother!! I want those shoes miss Badu!

  • Aunt Viv

    I have concerns about women with children from several different men, as well as men who have children from several different women :(

  • Nina Knows

    @Re

    Ummm, if you dont feel that way, apparently I wasnt referring to you. If you scroll up, you will see comments like “damn what # is this” as if that’s a bad thing.

    No matter how many ways YOU try and flip it, it doesnt sound right. I have my own opinion, and I dont see a major problem. It may not be ideal to me, but the main thing is that their being taking care of. other than that, it aint my business.

    True, maybe she doesnt believe in abortion, or maybe she just wanted another kid. In her interviews she seems pretty sure and complete about her baby making decisions.

    Not trying to battle with the situation. But I am entitled to my own opinion. I respect your opinion, but dont down-play mine,because you dont agree. It’s cool either way.

  • CV

    I think Blu Cantrell looks good, she doesn’t look like a crackhead at all.

  • yanib

    @NinaKnows….I have a problem with a woman with multiple babies by multiple men, just as I have a problem with men with mulitiple babies by multiple women. It’s stank no matter who does it, but it’s just more visible when a woman does it because kids resulting from these type of situations are usually raised by their mother. What kind of example are you setting for your children? That it’s o.k. to procreate everytime you think you’re in love? To the male child it’s o.k. to sow your seed and keep it moving? To the female child it’s o.k. to have your eggs fertilized by a dude that’s gonna keep it movin’? You have to think it’s o.k. because you’re doing it. Will your children respect you when they’re old enough to understand? What about if the kid’s dads don’t participate in their lives equally? One dad is great, another o.k. and another a total deadbeat…..

  • Keeping It Real

    I dont care how much knowledge “mother earth” Erykah Badu claims to possess and how much incense she burns…having all of kids by different fathers is going to cause a lot of problems. Especially for the kids. She will be taken care of financially though from all of the child support checks she is going to get…since she is no longer relevant as an artist..lol

  • lala#1

    1) Another baby? Can Erykah have one for me as well?

    2) Why is Blu still relevant?

    3) Good for Jay.. he has definately grown into a man

  • I’m Just Me- Buffalo Bills (4-0)

    Love Erykah! For real!!

    Loving Jay

    Why is the girl with Blu rocking that Band-Aid steez on her leg? Never a good look ladies!

  • http://www.gravatar.com Re

    @Nina Knows

    Oh naw, you’re entitled to your opinion.

  • MS.NYTX

    again…damn she fertile, if ya grass dont grow sprinkle her ass on there…watch it magically sprout……lol

  • Nina Knows

    @yanib

    ok I understand what you saying. But those reasons are not always the case. She has said herself that her children are very well taken care of and their fathers are in their lives. No matter what a person feels about it, is only opinion. The facts still remain.

    Does having the same father in every case guarantee you child no problems or confusion. No it doesnt. If the parents are neglectful then they just are. Everything else is just passing judgement onto another person.

    It is not uncommon for men/women to have children from more than one partner. This is extremely common. How do you know someone just planted a seed and keep it moving. Not being with the other person doesnt mean you will be a bad parent.

    I do agree it would be ideal to have kids by the same partner, but life doesnt always work that way. NOBODY knows how those kids will feel or what they will experience, all of that is just pure speculation.

  • elle

    Erykah is doing what works for ERYKAH. Do you, Badu! Congrats!

  • Nina Knows

    What’s so extremely fertile about 3 kids, millions of people have 3 kids, that is not unheard of.

    Having 18 like that family on discovery channel, Now that’s another story!

  • Trini Chica BK (AKA) As a matter of Fact

    What’s wrong with having three kids? She has money to support them. That’s her damn business. It’s the one’s without any money having a “thousand” kids that are retarded. Three kids is the ideal number for a married couple. DUH!!

  • K-mia

    Luv Erykah!! she’s so pretty

  • NU (Product of the Swirl and AINT mad about it)

    I love her….we need her odd ass back in the business…real talk…

  • jerryjones

    Damn, maybe some guy will marry her one day, but he has to be real desperate. I can’t picture marrying a selfish ass woman like this. i know you women have your rights but dam, she is going overboard. i will be real embarrassed to know i have 4 siblings and we all have different fathers

  • Black Beauty

    Congrats Erykah, I hope that #3 is happy and healthy. I am not going to get involved in the baby daddy drama. Jay-Z looks nice. He looks better with the hair.

  • Black, yet very well educated

    Who’s the latest “Babydaddy” Erykah? Ours is truly a sick and poisoned culture.

  • Fahtima

    smoke weed everydayayeahhhhh…………..

  • sepia830

    As long as she is not on welfare, she can have as many babies as she can handle. Yes, it would be nice if they were all by the same daddy….

  • Kesha: (I BLEED BLACK-N-GOLD) The weather has changed, and so have I…cold/sore throat already :-(

    Hey Daywalker!

    Sorry for the delayed response…Massa put that whip on me for a minni…thanks for the tip. It helped too! Sore throat is of the devil i believe!!!

  • Al-Anon

    @jerryjones

    i will be real embarrassed to know i have 4 siblings and we all have different fathers

    _____________________________________________

    Why would you be embarrassed? You haven’t creatd them or done anything wrong? Why be embarrassed?

    I think the parents should be embarrassed, but they never are. They think it’s really cool.

  • Al-Anon

    Erykah Badu likes to collect souvenirs and mementoes (babies) from her previous boyfriends. She has a baby so she can always remember them fondly.

  • Jahp

    Erykah Badu looks cute and her shoes are hot.

    who is the world is Blu Cantrell? another socialite?

  • blaq

    I’ve never heard Eryka speak an ill word about any of her childrens fathers, nor any of them speak ill of her, they all seem to have a great deal of respect for each other and their respective children. I think the example she is setting for her children is to follow your heart and how to handle a situation when things don’t turn out as you plan. For those of you who think this is wrong and embarrassing, don’t do it in your life. People who live their life by others opinions are never happy.

  • GeezyWheezy

    >>>>> Ok is NO BODY GONNA SAY THIS, but is BLU CANTRELL Smoking ROCKS???

    I respect everyone’s opinion…

    But why when Angelina Jolie have 4 kids with different EVERYTHING..its cool but when Erykah has 3 of her own kids y’all want to disrespect the Queendom(i love saying that!)?

  • kigali (Black Females NEED arranged marriages!!)

    @Black Man,

    “…black women are not marriage material just ripe for reproduction.”

    It would seem that way.

  • SWAG-a-licious

    @Kigali -

    Would you rather she be un-happily married to have kids? Just because you are un-happily married don’t mean that ALL black women want to join you.

    Erykah could have BEEN MARRIED. DO YOU NOT REMEMBER HOW SHE TURNED ANDRE AND COMMON OUT!! ANDRE STILL AINT RIGHT…BOY PLEASE and Common just got with Serena and stated that he proposed to Ms. Badu and she told him no and she broke his heart.

    She wants and deserve to be happy, and kids are blessings from GOD. Last time I checked GOD don’t make mistakes…only humans. Erykah is not and has never been a follower she is a leader! So you can’t arrange sh&T for her (or me for that matter)! Kick rocks….back to Africa with that Sh&T.

  • Encyclopedia Brown

    Erykah Badu for Vice President!

  • SWAG-a-licious

    @ The Prince of Zumunda

    Exactly, Why not comment when Angelina and Madonna go and get other peoples kids and possible ruin their lives…both are crazy and Angelina is not married. Oh…I get it…because they are white…

    Erykah has her OWN children! What business is it of yours of who their fathers are? They are loved! You just want her to satisfy you by telling you (as many women do) that all of her children have the same father…you might not be your daddies son…fukka outta hea…momma’s baby…daddy’s maybe!! Show me your DNA test before you judge!

  • http://www.j.com noelle

    Jay get out the damn post, weren’t you just up there???

  • SWAG-a-licious

    @Black Man

    I know 4 black women who can not have their own children and had to adopt.. poked holes in that theory.

    @Kigali

    The one true issue of our community is the lack of respect, commitment and unity. Our community is plagued with self-righteous individual who spout all the problems and none of the solutions. Single parenthood started way before Erykah Badu and is not only the responsibility of the woman, and this is a shared issue, babies are not made by women alone, there are men who figure into this issue. Men who have not enough respect for themselves to create families for their children, it’s easy to say women wait until you get married, but where is the suggestion for brothers to create families. Are these single mothers single by choice or in relationships with men who don’t feel marriage is necessary for their union. Most mothers intend, hope, plan to be in a relationship with their children’s fathers, but unfortunately this does not work out. The divorce rate is 60%, people do not have the commitment to marriage there once was. The real issue is the fact there is no respect for children, we do not have pride in our own future. Children born out of wedlock are considered unworthy and burdens, this has to change every black child is precious, the first black president of the U.S. is a product of a single mother, so is Jesse Jackson (who is of the grandfather generation) is also a product of a single parent, along with Malcolm X, and many other black significant black people. The message in your gravi lets me know you have no idea as to what the solution is.

  • kigali (Black Females NEED LISTEN TO KIGALI!!) She means well.

    @Nine Knows,

    I am not talking about a race of black women. I am talking about black women in the Western world, particularly those in America where the problems are most acute. Now if your response to me is to hit rewind and play. Not interested. Appreciate it if you would deal with the substance of what I am saying instead of bobbing and weaving. No pun intended if you wear a weave.

    When you have children it isnt the time to be a “individual.” Be an individual when you are single and childless. When you marry or have children it stops being about ME and starts being about WE.

  • shantel

    I have lost respect for Erykah. While I applaud single mothers for raising their children by themselves, this is ridiculous.

    To keep proudcing children out of wedlock with different men is irresponsible. It sends the wrong expample for the children.

  • kigali (Black Females NEED LISTEN TO KIGALI!!) She means well.

    @Blaq,

    Honestly, you are boring the hell out of me. You are chasing your tail and thus forcing me to chase my own tail. Nothing of what I said was objectionable but instead of you saying, yeah, great advice, you do what is so typical of black women: What about the men?

    Going in circles produce dizzy ass women.

    Ok, I can go outside of my door right now to where all the gangstas and the dope boys hang out. Why are there so many women there with them? Why do they have groupies? Because there are a bunch of females who celebrate the thug lifestyle. Men are thugs because, in addition to the fast money it brings, it also brings fast women.

    The men will follow the changes women make. Stop turning it around on them. And NO: YOUR SEXUAL HEALTH IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. YOU WILL BE LIVING WITH THE BABY OR THE DISEASE. TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE AND STOP TRYING TO SPREAD THE RESPONSIBILITY TO ALL AND SUNDRY.

    And the black woman I describe are not a minority. I am offering one sided solutions because I am a black woman speaking as a black woman to other black women.

    If your response to any and every criticism is: What about the men?

    We are so lost, irreparably lost.

    “I still love you sistah, but your ways are ugly.”

    The reality is even uglier.

  • FACINGREALITY

    Badu loves her some rappers

    Baby Daddy #1 – Andre 3000

    Baby Daddy #2 – D.O.C.

    Baby Daddy #3 – Jay Electronica

    To each his own, but dang it has to be hard on the children during holidays when everybody exits stage left to their respective daddy’s house.

    Love her music!

  • Giveitarest

    If Kigali offends you, you are probably the one who could most benefit from her advice.

  • MeLLoWMoOdd

    Love, Love, Love Erykah Badu. Very much I am an unconditional listener of hers. Nobody is perfect, she obviously has some issues that she is going through. That make her feel that it is alright to continue to create life with all these different men. All these different men can’t be worthy of her seed.

  • crazychris

    i’d screw erykah voodoo myself I like her she wants to have kids thats her life

  • Anjela
