For Beyonce stans around the world, this is a dream come true:
Beyoncé’s third solo LP is just a month and a half from release, but aside from some teases promising collaborations with Justin Timberlake and producer Sean Garrett (Usher, Fergie), not much is known about the singer’s still-untitled album, set to drop November 18. “I have recorded over 70 songs and have created a sound that reveals all of me. I am in a different place right now, and I wanted people to see the many sides of me,” Beyoncé continued in the letter. “The music is upbeat for the dance, fun side, and it is reflective, passionate and serious for the personal side. I have taken risks here. I am not afraid. … There is no label or tag on my sound. It’s me, and I am so excited to share it with the world.”
70 songs, you say? Say what you want about her, but this is one hard working broad.

I agree on the over singing and non-acting. Her House of Deron line is horrible but you have to give her the dancing. Beyounce is a good dancer and she has a dynamite figure. But that’s it. The girl is way over-rated. We have lowered our standards to what true talent is.

Now I love me some Beyonce just as much as anyone else (all you haters love her too or you wouldn’t be here) but I’m tired of her, Lil Wayne, or anybody gettin props for doing what their supposed to do! She’s a recording artist right? What else does she have to do besides make videos/movies, tour and ride out wit Jay-Z??? All activities that most of us would do for free. I’ve recorded 16 songs since June, all while holding down a rough 9 to 5, working on a limited budget and with only two producers and one engineer!
I agree that 70 songs is a lot, but when you are being paid handsomely and your main priority is simply making good music, then it’s expected.
With that said, I still look forward to hearing her again.
The real question should be how many of the 70 songs are dope?

ALL artists record 45 or more songs before they even submit anything to the label. Does anybody honestly think that a label would front you all that money to record and then you come with 15 measely tracks for them to shoot down?

I will listen on the radio, and online, I don’t buy CDs nor to most americans or people, the cd buying public is quite small. Think about it 150 million people in the US let’s say 60 million are adults…best selling CDs do like 6 million, that is 10% of actual buyers, a small number, most do other things with their money..and we love to say what’s 15 dollars, what’s 20 dollars, well when it adds up its something and I move around too much to have extra stuff to lug.

Great role model for young ladies. I must say that I agree that she is hardworking and that is probably one of the few qualities that I admire about her. However, to say that she is a great role model is wrong. I think that what she did was disgusting and it actually when I started to loose respect for her. Beyonce also preaches about sisterhood but this does not reflect on how she treats her bandmates/”sister” Kelindra Rowland. If i was a superstar artist and I had my girl I would bust her on a song and give her a hit or two. Now I know that I will be called a hater- but how ? I used to be a fan- I am no longer. I just know that when Beyonce hits 45 or so, or after she has kids and before she has plastic surgery and all that beauty is lost in the fat she will not be favoured as she was yesterday-(and by yesterday I mean 2003) then we the public will be watching the telly and see specials off all the people who had to interact with her, and no longer- and they now have the freedom to tell all. Then we will learn about how she really is. I wonder if her dumb fans will still think that she is the greatest. You know what it is fine to think that she is the greatest, however, that is indicative of your poor taste in music, it also speaks to your intellect. Beyonce is definatley not an intellectual- and that is fine. Just please Beyonce stans just recognize that she is not perfect. Can she sing ? Yes, Is it the optimal way of singing and loved by all ? NO. Is she pretty ? Yes- usually once European features are involved it becomes quite easy. Can she dance to c*****ographed movements ? YES, Can she dance freestyle well ? NO.
Beyonce is fabricated as much as Rihanna ( I love Rihanna now, and not for her voice, but for her style- I would not defend the voice ting at all). But I definately respect Rihanna for not being the fakeness that is Beyonce. Beyonce is so fake. Fake hair, fake personality. Youtube Beyonce true colours and then wonder where the sweetness went ? Why is it that whenever there is media feedback about her they always say that she is so sweet ? that just seems scripted.
