If ever there were a candidate for having his @ss torn asunder, it’s this Australian juvenile delinquent.
A 7-year-old boy broke into a popular Outback zoo, fed a string of animals to the resident crocodile and bashed several lizards to death with a rock, the zoo’s director said Friday. The 30-minute rampage, caught on the zoo’s security camera, happened early Wednesday after the boy jumped a security fence at the Alice Springs Reptile Center in central Australia, said zoo director Rex Neindorf. The child then went on a killing spree, bashing three lizards to death with a rock, including the zoo’s beloved, 20-year-old goanna, which he then fed to “Terry,” an 11-foot, 440-pound saltwater crocodile, said Neindorf. The boy also fed several live animals to Terry by throwing them over the two fences surrounding the crocodile’s enclosure, at one point climbing over the outer fence to get closer to the giant reptile. In the footage, the boy’s face remains largely blank, Neindorf said, adding: “It was like he was playing a game.” By the time he was done, 13 animals worth around $5,500 had been killed, including a turtle, bearded dragons and thorny devil lizards, Neindorf said. Although none were considered rare, some are difficult to replace, he said.
This little serial killer in the making needs to be caned like Michael P. Fay. People, please beat your kids. Don’t abuse them, but nip shit in the bud before it becomes a real problem. I’m in grad school getting my Ph.D. in psychology…therefore I can defintely speak on this. This kid is a sociopath and it is unlikely he will ever get right. When you are 7 years old, and you find a way to break into a national zoo in order to purposefully, brutally, murder helpless animals for your personal enjoyment??? That lack of empathy and remose combined with such maliciousness makes him a danger to other people- and is the signature of serial killers. When that gets into you at such a young age, that never gets out. It is only a matter of time before he starts killing humans- he is probably already hurting kids his age, and you know all the pets in his neighborhood have mysteriously “gone missing” aka tortured, killed, and buried in his backyard under mom’s rosebushes.
In sum, this sick-***** kid needs to get sent somewhere QUICK for some serious help- and even if he gets locked up in juvy he will get out at 18, and he will start killing people- I’d bet my house on it.
Starting off earlier and earlier…He needs his behind beat and put on punishment…He could’ve been killed messing with all those animals..And somebody owes the zoo, almost $6K….How could he be gone from home so long and the parents,not know?? That little boy needs some serious therapy, but the whole family should attend these therapy sessions with him since he’s a kid. I this child being abused ? That is not normal behavior.

Killing animals is how it starts and the it progresses to humans, and i’m more than positive that this boy has no conscious nor remorse for his actions. The lust to commit grave harm to others is already in him, and sadly, no spanking from any parent is going to change that.

This child will be a SERIAL KILLER if he isn’t dead before he has a chance to kill. Most serial killers start off by killing animals as practice, then move to human beings-The “big” time. Only 7 years old and he is already malicious and cruel? It is engrained in him. This kid won’t changed. He was born a sociopath. He has no remorse or sense of sympathy. This kid needs to be jailed for life or dead. Counseling won’t help. And no, he is not just a child, he is a monster!

This child will be a serial killer and whatever got itself into him at such a young age is bound to remain with him forever. He, as you have stated, is already malicious and cruel and more than likely incapable at comprehending anyone else’s feelings but his own. The only problem with situations like this is that, when a child is revealed to have been killing animals which is the first stage before he progresses to people, there is nothing anyone can really do.
Counseling cannot help, the parents, sadly, are dealing with a lost cause, and the child cannot be imprisoned forever for a crime such as cruelty to animals. The only thing that can happen is, the child somehow dies, the child is imprisoned and released at 18, still free to roam society, or, wait to see if any school shootings or such appear.

The moral of the story is guys, do not have children from people with disturbed backgrounds, whether it is schizophrenia, drugs, crime, alcoholism or whatever, as it means you are innately starting your child with a genetic disadvantage and could be predisposed to a trouble adult life….worst still, as a child too. Wow, shocking how we are all talking about a 7 year old boy, we just need to look a little bit more into this boy and many more like him and understand what is going on inside of them to stop it….and no a beating will not stop that, he must probably comes from a home where he is physically abused everyday anyway….this is a boy from a neglected background, has gone through abuse at some point and has very bad genes!

This little boy should not be beaten. It appears that he may be or have been sexually abused. Most who want to hurt or kill animals are generally abused themselves. The connection is the child and animals (the ones that were fed to the croc)are helpless. I agree with Carla that he needs therapy and the family need a visit from their state’s Child Protection Agency.

How does a 7 year old go missing for 1/2 hour and no one notice? His parents should have to pay for the damage done. Can you imagine spending over $20,000 at the Zoo. Why do we automatically *****ume that just because a child acts out it means they are not being spanked? Many children who are spanked still turn out wrong. I bet if you polled men in prison you’d find many of them received spankings as children. I have friends who got beatings as kids who still grew up to be drug dealers and involved in various criminal activities. I have relatives who constantly spank their kids and they still act up. There are also lots of people -myself included- who didn’t get spankings or beatings as children and didn’t turn into psychos or a degenerates. Spanking, beating and ***** whoopings are not the end all be all when it comes to raising well adjusted well behaved kids.
