This world will never change.I feel that O.J pissed off every black person out there. O.J hung tight with his whites. The main ones setting his Dumb Ass up. With an all white jury he must have thought “hey they will let me off again” They do not care about his ass. When you deal with white no matter what in their eyes your still and always will be Black….. (ni****).

@Destiny’s child–Have you ever heard that expression, 2 wrongs don’t make it right? That kind of explains the catch 22- that we have..The brothers can get kind of wild, but that is NO reason to turn our backs…I can’t accept that because I have been raised by my parents to LOVE myself and our people..I do not want to continue this horrible cycle of hatred…I’m not going to do a brother dirty, because of what he may or may not have done…Life is too short and I have accomplishments and goals that I need to finish, when I see my BLACK FATHER, he will be able to feel that love and see that I cared so much about him, that I have continued to pass on his legacy,work ethic, responsibilty, accountability and values that he took the time to instill in me.. I can’t hate something that is natural to me, that I believe in, that I am from, that is STILL a part of me…I will NEVER allow my family to be divided by stupidity and/ or race…I just can’t, I’ve got to much to do..And with that said, when my boys grow up, they will be attracted to people that they have things in common with, NOT JUST THEIR SKIN TONE OR COLOUR..I hope that they will marry black and continue our family, after I am long gone..I hope the woman that they choose, would be educated and complement them.. That’s all I want is their happiness/properity for themselves….But I will never let race decide their lot in life, I want them to be soooo much bigger than that..This argument about race could go on until the world ends…Yes, I love black love, Yes, I am all for black families, nothing makes me happier, BUT for those who don’t believe as I do, I respect their position ,and leave it at that…All that to say this: I change anyone’s minds. I can’t make someone do something that they don’t want to do…Anger at them/ toward them, only escalates the differences between our black male counterparts and ourselves….

@Destiny’s child- yes, I agree with some of your poat…Some black men do degrade black women, I don;t want to point fingers, what we need to do is get beyond all the bickering… I no longer care about being ‘RIGHT’..I want to save the black relationships PERIOD. Whether it be light or dark, man or woman, we need to do better than what we are..My mother, taught me along time ago, that how you treat people, is a reflection of how you see yourself…And if you don’t mind me saying so…Black men and black women are in a state of emergency..I don’t want my counterpart, to hate black women, espcially, since the woman that gave birth to him, was black as well…We HAVE to get passed all this hate..I am rasing 2 black boys…I can’t allow them to be around hateful stuff ;ike this…I want their minds to be filled with facts, spritual love for their higher power, and I want them to love and marry WHOEVER they desire to marry. I will not teach either of my children acceptance towards living a life of crime, drugs or having sex before they are ready….(usually marriage). Now they may or may not follow, what they have been taught,however, I want them to be happy with their lives and themselves…Females today have sooooooo many issues..and I’m not sure if I want them to be bothered, if this blog is indicative as to how people act and think, they will be raised with a variety of people, white.black,chinese,arab,indian, purple, green, etc…The mentality we all carry, scares the life out of me…By the time they are grown, I hope that there has been some sort of understanding..However, I will let thme be with whoever they want, to….Please go to talkingdrum.com and go to the heading entitled makings of a slave, you will understand everything that I am saying..Maybe it will stop some of the behaviour that we exhibit to each other…I sincerely hope that it does…..thetalkingdrum.com.
