Janet still hasn’t recovered from her vertigo and has postponed three more shows. Fans were told to hold on to their tickets so that they could see her pretend to get her jaws worked on another night. SMH

Why did Janet even bother to tour, anyway? Her album sucked and flopped, her music is whack, she’s fat again, her label dropped her (or she asked for a release, whatever) and she is completely irrelevant. Why bother????

People like Janet, just because she’s not selling albums doesn’t mean people don’t want to see her perform. Madonna @51 still is selling out venues but her cd’s don’t do well, and look at Paul McCartney and the Rolling Stones, they sell out everytime, so are they irrelevant?? blacks are always quick to want to dismiss artists when they get tired of them, STFU!! If you don’t like her that’s all good, we know you riding Beyonce’s lace front hard, i can’t wait until she’s irrelevant and see what you have to say then.

I think it’s cool that she’s touring, but is it the wisest decision considering her back to back CD flops? Janet needs to re-invent herself. She’s doing the same thing she did twenty years ago. Go talk to Madonna, or Bowie, or the Stones. While they still do the same songs, they also look, act, and perform their ages. Maybe she should hook up with Tyler Perry and do some more film work.

The fateful thing Janet did to her career was to let Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis go as her producers. They knew how to work with her voice, and wrote songs to highlight it behind some good grooves. Jermaine was not able to work her voice/music the same way. JJ and T Lewis expanded with her voice and music, and always gave Janet a fresh sound. If she’s choose to let them produce her again, I would guarantee that that CD would go platinum.

Comparing Janet to Madonna is like apples and oranges. Madonna ALWAYS finds a way to reinvent herself, thus her career has longevity, and people pay way more to see her in concert than they do Janet. Me thinks Janet isn’t getting the sold out concerts she expected, therefore she made up some weak ass excuse to bail on the few fans she still has left.

AGREE WITH JOYCE. Just being curious about ticket sales here in Atl, I went on line to see what kind of tickets I could get. Her show was canceled for last night, but on Friday you could buy tickets 3 rows up on the side of the floor level seats. It’s time for Janet to sit dowdn. I heard Tina Turner is selling more tickets but then again Tina don’t lip sync!
this is saving face, her tickets didn’t sell and most venues cancelled their shows, she does need to give it up…for now.
Actually i have tickets to the Philly show that was cancelled and i will be holding on to them..Janet’s tour is actually selling well if u check Billboard tour figures it will show u the statistics on the shows she’s done so far..but trust Janet may have not had a hit cd in awhile ..but dont sleep she STILL gives a great live show..If u’ve never seen it then u wont know!! I do believe that she is sick..dont know if its Vertigo or something else but i will be holding onto my ticket..and yall know U WISH u will look that good @42 yrs old..then Janet being fat never that PHAT is a better word..if u ever see her in person u will realize how petite she actually is ..i saw her at her signing in nyc and she was about a size 4 …trust now with these pics maybe a size 8 at best..COme on give credit where its due…Janet is an icon..Ask Beyonce..Ciara..and them who paved the way for them and they will tell u!!
