Call him Detective Perry. Tyler Perry has recently signed on to play the role of ‘Alex Cross,’ the detective portrayed in James Patterson’s never-ending series of popular novels!
Perry will follow in the foot steps of Morgan Freeman, who previously played ‘Cross’ in the suspense films “Kiss The Girls”and “Along Came A Spider.”
Perry will have to step out of his comfort zone and put in work, as this is the first role he’ll be playing, where he isn’t portraying a ghetto, over the top, drag queen of a granny looking to save a hoe!
