According to gossip columnist Roger Friedman of FOX 411, Beyonce’s label is attempting to “strip away her glamour and glitz” to prove that she is just like you.

I have been reading a lot of comments about IIWAB and the problem is people actually thought she was going to come out and try to out do Rihanna with some overrated super spectacular song that has no meaaning, but what she did was showcase how strong her vocal skills have gotten and how she listen to the public and put out a song that has some meaning. Everyone is stuck on the old but she has come out with something new even with SL there’s a different twist to it also but with her signature booty shake for the ones who are still stuck on B-Day, she said it her self that SL is the extended GMB. I believe this CD is going to be HOT!! even though a lot of people talk about B-Day it still sold 6mil copies. Beyonce is smart that’s why she made 82-mil in one year and Rihanna is still breaking her neck trying to get bucks working her butt off after having 5-#1 songs on a CD that basically flopped.

The Bottom Line we will all see November 18, 2008.

The new songs are more or less pop-rock ballads, which is more what I listen to (versus R&B), but those songs sucks hard!

I was really looking forward to what Beyonce was going to do, but i’m not impressed.

I just have super high expectations for Beyonce.

She has WAY too many people with their finger in her pie (meaning producing) to have a song sound like crap.

I kinda don’t want her to change up her image – she is known for the hair, gaudy jewelry & outfits. It’s her, it’s her thing, it’s her swagga.

Nobody else can pull that off but her.

Madonna & Mary J. are good examples of growth & transition but keeping yourself at the foundation.

Beyonce isn’t R&B, she’s glorified pop and I kind of like it.

If other female artists were to run around hollaring, with 10 packs of hair covered in gold like she does they would look crazy.

Beyonce’s stchick is that she’s a brand now and she has a trademark – I don’t think she should steer too far from it.

By album 3, plus 3 if you count Destiny’s Child she has loyal fans & a fan base. She should take that into consideration.

I expect her to act a fool, have Texas hair & jack people’s ideas, not to mention put her twist on them and make them cringe for even having it in the first place and wonder why they didn’t work it like she did.

As much as she gets on my nerves at times she’s known for doing alot. If not her, who else will?

The choreographer was out-shaking Bey..LOL. I think the vid will probably be mediocre enough to help the song get some plays on a pop station.

Personally, I like both of the songs. And why should she come up with something different? It’s been working for her this long and had made her sucessful (and paid) thus far, so why should she switch up her style.

We are glad to see Beyonce doing her thing, however I believe she has not earned that many Grammy’s to go off and make a recod about nothing. But, on the other hand she does have Jay-Z so if her recod flops Jay will take care of that butt.

And that fact that she is like 27 and married to a 40 yar old, kills her sex appeal even more. She may want to consider actualing learning how to act, or just spend Jay Z’s money and pop them babies. Either way she doesnt seem to loose.

Bottom line… her music hasn’t been any good (if it can be called good) since her first solo CD. She should stick with singing with Destiny’s Child.

I think Beyonce hit a big miss on these 2 new singles and dissappointed a lot of people. Honestly the words to “IF I were a boy” is great, but the problem is its not Beyonce’s genre and sometimes artists can’t do every genre and they should realize this. This song would’ve been better off with someone like ashlee simpson, kelly clarkson, or even tina turner who are pop rock artists. Beyonce is more pop and R&B type so a song like this sounds horrible with her voice trying to uphold it. She has a great voice no doubt, but this song is simply not for her.

Single Ladies sounds like something quickly put together because she knows her album won’t get any credit without a dance song. The words are like grade school and recycled beat probably by swizz beats. I’m waiting to see what else is on the album because I liked both dangerously in love and bday. Good Luck to her. There’s a lot of competition out there no matter who comes out.

Okay, now, I love Beyonce… I’ve been a fan since 1997′s “No No No”. But I have to say it seems all of these “intimate moments” and “naked moments” that she’s put out the last few years feel really contrived. It seems like she’s purposely trying to create these moments while… Kind of scripted, you know?? Artists like Michael and Janet Jackson, Madonna, Whitney and a host of others from music’s golden age had genuine backstage/behind the scenes/ candid footage. I just feel like she’s acting. Badly. Love her though, she always looks good, but I won’t buy anymore of her stuff. I liked the DC and 1st solo album’s much better than the last one and this new one. Doesn’t “Single Ladies” sound almost EXACTLY like “Get Me Bodied” to anyone else?
