Last night, Lil Kim got on Twitter and made this preposterous claim:

Here are three reasons why we’re inclined to echo Nicki’s sentiment:

1) We’re pretty sure the only artists to have sold 100,000 copies of an ALBUM in a day recently are Weezy, Yeezy or Hovi. And that was with the help of interviews with Katie Couric, endorsements/gigs from Michelob and an artsy-fartsy short film. In other words: white folks were checking for it.

2) Paypal-ing Lil Kim your hard earned $9.99 for the “Black Friday Mixtape” doesn’t get you a download link. It gets you a “your cd is in the mail.” In today’s age of fast-food consumerism, we’re pretty sure people would have been complaining way too hard for 100,000 of them to have fallen for the banana in the tailpipe.

3) We’re pretty sure Paypal would have flagged that account as a fraudulent account if Kimmy received upwards of a million dollars in one day.

To add comedy to this already comedic situation, several Twitter users made up fake re-tweets that made it seem as though Nicki was tweeting Kim directly. To which Kim responded:
