It was an animal. Some people treat their animals better than humans. I don’t condone killing dogs for sport which is cruel. The punishment was too severe. I think some people have turned this thing into a public lynching.

In the history of our universe, humans tend to follow and support leaders that they can relate to. Why? Because they know they have a better chance of being led in a direction that is in their self interest.

There is nothing wrong with a black person deciding to follow the lead of another black person. People from all walks of life do it all the time. And it usually works better than following the lead of someone who could care less.

Now these leaders may not be perfect. But how many leaders are? Their perfection or lack thereof is their own fault. The only issue that I would raise to my fellow black brothers and sisters is that at times we fail to hold the corrupt leaders accountable for their actions. And when that happens these corrupt leaders or public figures make us look like fools (i.e R.Kelly, and O.J Simpson, Jessie Jackson).

But we were never wrong to support them in the first place. We are only wrong when we support them after they work against the self interest of the community as a whole. As I see it, Obama has done exceptionally well in this election, and has actually uplifted the image of Black Americans. Therefore, I believe he deserves all the support he is receiving.

So stop the guilt tripping.

It does happen-every time an election happens here in Dallas it’s VOTE for whoever is black. Or when a prinicpal is being considered for a black school, it’s black folk screaming for a black person.

Now we are seeing the results of it as so many black run schools are cheating to win state titles, no control or low education standards. And nobody is screaming for them to get fired but they will yell for the white and hispanic ones that fail.
