This economic crisis is worse than everyone thinks. When the full effects kick in, even people with no money invested in the stock market will feel it. People who are living in public housing will be in a bad way because government (tax payers) are paying the bill. Government is just about broke, so no doubt they will begin to make cuts. That goes for healthcare as well. Working people are already feeling the squeeze brought on by the Bush administration. With no regulation of large corporations (i.e. oil companies, insurance companies, mortage companies) they just exploited the American people. What these “smart” executives failed to take into account is the fact that if the parasite kills the host then the parasite can no longer eat. They robbed us at the pump, with healthcare, with high interest mortages, and with everyday goods like groceries, that’s why this country is beginning to struggle in a major way.
