My mom is 56, qualified for full retirement at 49, and is entitled to my dad’s Social Security…and she still says that she’ll be a greeter at Walmart when she retires. I think it’s every senior citizen’s dream or something.

But…dude doesn’t look 83 at all!

You know, I almost made a funny remark then, I thought about how hard my grandmother worked all of her life outside of the home plus–feeding us, clothing us, putting us through college (well, some of us) then, once she became eligible to receive public funds, she was told that she qualified for a mere $7.00 in food stamps. (while some bytches get five and six hundred–buying their man steaks and shyt while buying their children those damn microwave meals)

Then, my mind went back to the time I worked part time in a food store. This woman came in and bought so many cans of cat food…and didn’t even OWN a cat!
Finally, I thought about the time the old lady was in front of me at the grocery store trying to decide what she needed more….the cans of soup or some OTC medicine. (I ended up paying for all of her groceries which was just under $12.00)

My heart bleeds for the older generation. Throughout this bad economy, they’re the ones who we think of the least yet suffer the most!

Actually my mom works for the SPD and the reason he did it was bc he had gambled all of his money away and with bringing the gun in and shooting it off he was hoping they (the officers) would shoot and kill him.. it is very sad.
