Remember how Shaunie O’Neal said this morning that poppin’ it for Ludacris on national television made little Royce a new, albeit boring, woman?
Umm…. yeah. Okay then. We see you.
We wonder what Dwight Howard and his good friend Jesus would say.
why do sistas REFUSE their natural hair?can some black females please answer this for me?
being natural takes alot of work some woman live very busy lives and feel its easyer to just put a perm on.
Fear maybe, that the majority of men will run the other way! Sadly, their “REAL” hair looks a lot better, even if its shorter than those long, fake- a$$ looking weaves!
Royce wears her real hair on the basketball wives show. Maybe she wore weave for the photo shoot.
@ Nymphis are you talking about her weave? She doesn’t wear weave on the show but maybe wanted to play it up a bit for the photoshoot.
Whatever you do, Don’t wear that “grandma” lin-ge-rie. When I saw that, I became a grown azz woman laughing and pointing at the t.v. I know picture that.
I’m not even gonna peep these…don’t want to break my stitches.
Dwight is going to have a field day with these!!! I smell another lawsuit.
I’ll try and answer it…It’s a catch 22 kind of situation actually. No matter what you do you get judged. America does not support natural black women’s beauty so to feel beautiful some black women feel we need to add and do certain things to compete with America’s standard of beauty.
I don’t see the big deal. I think she looks great. Like a Victoria Secret ad. It’s not like she is cocked over or has her legs spread open smh.
Why is it that when it’s a black woman the first thing is about her hair or skin color? Other woman wear fake hair and don’t get called out for it as much. One thing about reading these blogs I’ve come to learn how messed up our black community is smh. We are so hard on each other. Dang give the sista some credit. You know most of you don’t look that good in underwear.
beautiful black woman
I’m askin this as a black man
Why do black women envy white girls hair?and who gives a shyt about black women meetin white peoples standard of beauty?what you’re sayin is that in her natural state a blk woman is not beautiful
I’m not jealous of white women at all. Shoot, I’m not jealous of anyone. I don’t need to be.
Why aren’t black women allowed to be women and girlie though? Regardless if it’s “natural” or not? Because in a world filled with products specifically geared towards the woman and beauty nothing is truly “natural”. I get the hair thing but shoot the fun in being a woman is options and selection. Who doesn’t love dress up? :) JMHO.
I’ve never had cause to be jealous of ww. Why is it that bm feel the need to pick bw apart for everything?
i dont think black women are envious of a white woman hair. I think actually black women have more options than white women. As a white female i wish i could get my hair to do some of the styles or things black hair can do. BTW I do hair so i can tell you that white hair isnt as easy to style or take care of either.
Ok…..what’s the problem? People need to stop hating on Royce & move the hell on. Worry about paying your bills or the price of gasoline going up. What has Royce done to any of you. Nothing. SMH
^ im so sick of black people worrying about black womens hair STFU! she can do whatever she wants with her hair.. yall never say anything about Kim Kardishian hair or all the other white and hispanic women who wear weave for you dumba##’s who keep sayin black women want white womens hair should know not even white women have completely straight hair because they still use a straighters so before you start with the psychologic blackmen/women b.s do more research
yes there are women of other races that wear wigs and weaves but with black women its a multimillion dollar business
I never say anything about kim kardashian cuz I don’t give a fck about her.I’m askin about sistas.if you think fake hair makes you look and feel better about yourself then more power to you.I think it’s brainwashin at it’s finest.
So with that logic I can say lettin my pants hang off my azz is easier than puttin a belt on
i knw what your sayin but as a natural sistah it take a lot of time and effort to do my hair… but its worth it because my hair is thick and long!
@Trini Sazon Exactly! Thank you! @nymphis I did not say blk women are not beautiful in their natural state. You asked a question and I was trying to explain why some women do it. America has a standard of beauty. I also did not say white women I said America. Even white woman have to fit that standard by getting plastic surgery, dying their hair, weaving their hair “extensions”, losing weight etc. I am a blk woman and I am beautiful but unfortunately some of our own ppl don’t appreciate it in it’s natural state.
So if I approached you wit a jheri curl and blue contacts.what would you honestly think of me.and when you say Americas standard of beauty, who does that mean.
LMFAO @ that visual. If you approached me w/a jheri curl and blue contacts I would think you were very gay…and wonder why in the world you were approaching a female to begin with. Gay club is —–> that way sir.
Beautiful black woman
so because some self hatin brotha don’t appreciate you in your natural state you should try to fit in.the last thing black woman should be doin is runnin from their natural state.
I dont wear weaves i have long natural hair but i do hair for fun … im tired of hearing the black men/women psychologic b.s that some fool made up Black men developed the long hair,Big butt light skinned thing not no WHITE MAN so lets not play the blame game … thats our fault not no one elses !! & hair does not build up no one confidence even the prettiest girls with long natural hair have low self esteem so if you high/or low self -esteem and want to wear weaves then they should do them its not your or anyone elses business to complain about
& to the psychologic b.s that black women want to be like white women well the last time i check ehite women are getting there lips bigger and fuller like black women and even try to have thicker bodies like black women implants and all so why doesnt anyone speak on that
Trini, very few realize that they are not their hair and in fact they are not their bodies as well. The ones who do could care less what people have to say. Kudos, I agree with your sentiments.
@nymphis I’m not saying it’s right I’m just telling one of the reason it happens. You can’t ask a question and be mad at the answer or the messenger. I agree it’s a shame at times but until this world changes things are gonna stay the same. Instead of calling blk women out at every chance try some positive reinforcement(something blk women don’t get enough of in media and social networking outlets).
