It’s time to for killer cop Aaron Hess to pay up.
We will never forget the murder of DJ Henry by the crooked New York police.
The parents of a college football player from Massachusetts have filed a federal lawsuit against the New York police officer who shot and killed him.
Pleasantville Officer Aaron Hess, who was cleared by a grand jury in February, was sued Wednesday. His lawyer did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
Hess shot Danroy Henry Jr., of Easton, Mass., through the windshield of his car on Oct. 17 as Henry drove away from a disturbance outside a bar. Hess has said he was hit by the car and had no choice but to fire.
In the lawsuit, filed in White Plains, N.Y., the parents say Hess jumped in front of the car and had no good reason to shoot.
They ask for damages for their son’s death and their suffering.
This was no accidental shooting — an innocent young man with a promising future has been robbed of a promising future. Justice must be served.
