Congratulations to Tyler Perry! This is a great achievement. I see lots of negative comments on some of the posts though. What’s up with that? First off, no one knows exactly what happened with those writers and Mr. Perry except, those writers and Mr. Perry. Second, has Tyler Perry came out and officially said he’s gay? I haven’t heard that. So until he does, people need to get off that. And even if he does that, ok so what else is new? Just be happy for the man’s success with the studio. This report isn’t about his business decisions with writers or his sexuality so move on from it.

Congratulations once again to Tyler Perry.

CONGRATS Tyler! I agree with earlier post which says this doesn’t mean he is gonna take care of the whole black community of artist and writer/actors. He can’t. However if this is not a testiment to what God can do in your life and a testimanet to all black people adults and kids alike that you being black has noting to do with your ablity to be rich and successful I don’t know what is.

ITA, they’re are plenty of other companies out there that don’t pay their writers jack. Is it now his responsibility to take up the cause for black writers.

I’m really torn. On one hand I love that a brother is doing his thing legally..on the other hand we just don’t need anymore of his movies with crappy predictable story lines and over-acting. Hope he decides to think outside the box and do something different, until then, i refuse to see any of his movies or watch that dumb tv show of his.
