Possibly the most famous and influential musician of the 20th century, Bob Marley, died on May 11, 1981. Thirty years later, the world is celebrating the life of the legend. At the Cannes Film Festival, a “definitive” biography is premiering while concerts commemorating his life are going on all over the world.

Marley is most known for his hits “I Shot The Sheriff,” “Redemption Song,” “No Woman, No Cry” just to name a few. He’s survived by 11 children, including his superstar sons Damian and Stephen.
