Oprah’s starting to become that houseguest that won’t go away. Now, as part of her yearlong celebration of herself, Oprah is crossing the line and fawking with the Playoffs. That’s unforgivable.
Oprah is taping her final show at the United Center – where the Bulls play – on Tuesday, meaning she’ll need access to the stadium on Monday night to set up. Presumably to build a shrine to herself or something. This means that if the Bulls beat the Hawks tonight, their Game 1 match-up with the Heat would have to be moved to Sunday night instead of the originally scheduled Monday evening. But if the Bulls win in seven games, then Game 1 would have to be postponed until Wednesday.
That’s right – in Chicago, Oprah has more power than the damn Bulls. Does anybody else feel like she announced her retirement like four years ago? This is taking forever.
