Some people need to chill out on their Facebook use. An Israeli couple gave birth to a lovely baby girl recently. And instead of going with a nice, traditional name, they went with “Like.” No, that’s not pronounced “Lee-Kay” or “Lie-Kuh” or anything like that. The name is straight-up “Like” as in the Facebook Like button.
Though the couple say they didn’t name their baby after the social network, we’re definitely going to hear the comparisons to Facebook. The parents said that they just wanted a unique name and they damn sure got one. This isn’t the only time, either, we’ve had a Facebook-related name. Remember in February the Egyptian family that named its baby “Facebook?” Yeah, this looks like it might end up being some trend. We’re counting down until someone names their poor child “Poke.”
Facebook is taking over too, too much these days.
