NY Mag.com is saying Yeezy ganked a small piece from them for his blog:

Look, we certainly know how much work goes into maintaining a blog that updates daily — and we’re not even platinum-selling hip-hop superstars with demanding schedules that include recording albums, smashing cameras, and hiring naked ladies to stand around at our listening parties — but that’s no excuse for trying to pass off someone else’s words as your own. Which is precisely why we were so disappointed to learn that Kanye West, in a post on model Jourdan Dunn, has egregiously lifted an entire biographical timeline on Dunn from our Website without giving credit. Now, Kanye’s is still indisputably the world’s greatest blog — on the Internet or elsewhere — but this simply will not stand. We can only hope that this post was not also plagiarized from somewhere.

They are putting him on blast for the publicity rather than trying to contact him and resolve it. That is out of pocket. What do you Bossipers think??

We better source these hoes for that quote before they start crying and ish…SMH

Naw man, this is how you hit em. When they come begging for drinks you get 2 choices: 1) If you cool with em, buy it. If they’re just tryin ta get drunk for free, tell em’ “You buy the first round, and I’ll get the next one.” Kills that B.S. every time.

Well if Kanye is going to use another persons data he has to site the source. That is good business and not siting the source is illegal as Bossip already knows.

How exactly is it publicity for the other blog if Kanye didnt say where he got his information from? How is defending yourself, your work, your hard work at that being “out of pocket” sometimes I really have to wonder about Bossip…. I like the site but sometimes ya’ll dont make much sense

If someone took some info from Kanye’s blog, he would make it known to EVERYBODY that they stole his comments. I don’t think HE would make an attempt to settle things quietly without a public rant. We all learned in school about plagarism. Don’t do it!

while there could have been a quieter way to resolve this situation, the Little Guy needs to stand up for himself. just because he’s kanye west, he expected that *****ody would call him out on that? if i plagiarized a paper like that in my university program, i would unceremoniously dropped–no questions asked..

should yeezy get MORE special treatment on top of all his usual celeb status??

Kind of odd since Kanye claims to be a “genius” whose writing and beat producing abilities make him better than the rest…

He is very artistic, he probably just quoted them and they are doing this for publicity. I checked they site, it is not one you would do either or with.

All he had to say was, “The website, (name the website), sums up my experience perfectly. I consider myself an artist to be sure but I don’t always have the time to eloquently put my perspective into words. Thanks to websites like (name the website), I don’t have to…Thanks guys!”

It’s ironic how the guy who ALWAYS *****es about not getting the credit he deserves, doesn’t give credit when it’s due. I am so not surprised that a narcissistic, egomaniac like himself would behave in the manner that he despises. It’s so hypocritical. I guess it’s to be expected from an only child and mama’s boy.

I enjoy Kanye’s music but I hate his attitude.
