Hi Hater: Scottie Pippen Says That Lebron James Is Better Than Michael Jordan!!!

Whoa, whoa, whoa, pump your brakes a little bit holmes…

Chicago Bulls’ legend Scottie Pippen said on ESPN’s “Mike and Mike in the Morning” today that while his former teammate Michael Jordan is probably the greatest scorer ever, he thinks LeBron James may be the greatest player to ever play the game.

James and the Miami Heat claimed the Eastern Conference Championship last night after defeating the Bulls in Game 5 by a score of 83-80. Despite losing the first game of the series by 21 points, the Heat dominated the four ensuing games, in large part due to the decision to put James on NBA MVP Derrick Rose on the defensive end of the court. With James guarding him, Rose shot just 6.3 percent from the field.

James came up with several crucial defensive plays down the stretch in each of the Heat’s four wins in the series, including a game-ending blocked shot on Rose in the final seconds of Thursday’s series finale.

Michael Jordan, the owner of six championship rings and five MVP’s is considered by many to be the greatest player to ever play the game. He finished his career as the only guard to post a career average of 30.1 points per game, and won the NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award in 1988. He was also named to the All-Defensive First Team in each season he played from 1988 to 1998.

We understand that Lebron is an amazing player, and that the Heat are going to the NBA Finals, but its blasphemous to speak like that about a man who’s responsible for putting 6 rings on your fingers homie.

Do you think Scottie was right? Is Lebron really better than Michael Jordan???
