Jesus took the wheel…

A 30 year old man fell four stories from the roof of his building yesterday after getting locked out of his apartment and trying to climb down an electrical cable to his window.

The 30-year-old victim miraculously survived, but was listed in critical condition after the early-afternoon plunge at 47 Bay 26th St. in Bath Beach.

Minutes after the accident, building resident Tomas Chan identified himself to a Post photographer as the roommate of the victim, whose name was withheld.

Cops said Chan, too, had been locked out.

Chan and other residents of the building were questioned by cops for several hours.

But police early today said no criminality was suspected and they did not expect any charges to be filed.

Next-door neighbor Dorothy Nation, 43, who called 911, recalled the horrible sound of the victim hitting the ground.

“We heard a loud thump and went outside into the yard and saw a guy on the ground,” she said.

“He was groaning and moaning. I told him to stay still, that the ambulance was on its way.”

FDNY rescuers rushed the victim to Lutheran Medical Center.

Damn… to say it was a miracle he survived is an understatement…
