We know you Stans out there have got to be super excited every time Beyonce hits this part of her “job”: offering carefully crafted “intimate details” about her life and getting profound about her music to help push some records.

With “4” around the corner, Mrs. Knowles-Carter is in fully promo-hoeing mode. She’s kicking off this month with a cover feature about “The Year That Changed [Her] Life.” Which we would all like to believe means she’s going to talk about Hubby Hov. But she’s probably not. In fact, the article probably won’t reveal anything you don’t already know about “King B.”

But that’s okay, she’s gonna be talking to a lot of media over the next few weeks, revealing things like her inner most thoughts about her musical responsibility.

Speaking about the lead single from the album, ‘Run The World (Girls)’, Beyoncé told Billboard: “It’s exciting to have bridges and bounce… and not the same beat looped over and over again. It’s definitely riskier than something a bit… more simple.

“But I feel like my job in the industry is to push the limits and I feel like I have to constantly evolve. I can never be safe.”

The singer continued to elaborate that she finds it challenging to create a universal sound that a broad range of people can enjoy.

“It’s hard to create a new-sounding up-tempo [song] that people are going to love, not only in America but around the world, or for different ages. One thing I’ve always stood for is making people feel good.”

Wait, we’re sorry: go back to the top of that quote. “Run The World” didn’t have the same beat looped over and over again? Is there another version of the song that we don’t know about?
