Howard Can’t Explain Why He Lost Iron Man Part

This picture is of Terrance Howard at the Howard Homecoming Football game in Washington D.C. over last weekend, making a complete fool of himself. We also found out exactly how he lost the Iron Man role, well somewhat.
“It was the surprise of a lifetime,” he said. “There was no explanation. [The contract] just…up and vanished. I read something in the trades implicating that it was about money or something, but apparently the contracts that we write and sign aren’t worth the paper that they’re printed on, sometimes. Promises aren’t kept, and good faith negotiations aren’t always held up.”
He’s lying. He knows they told him and his murse to get lost. They needed a little more masculity to stand next to Iron Man. You just can’t get the job done if you’re busy wiping yourself down with baby wipes and prancing around in a drummajor get up.

Who knows what happened with that Iron Man situation. He is saying one thing and the studio is saying another. As for him being drum major, that is an honorable position. I don’t think that’s anything to be ashamed of. And Terence can dance his a$$ off so I know he was entertaining. I need to look for it on YouTube.

I dont seeing him being a Drum Mjaor at one top the most prestigious and top HBCU is making a fool of himself. As for Howard, with no other information I’m gonna have to co-sign with John and Slide and say this is seems most likely about Howard getting greedy and the studio calling his bluff, so he has no money at all now.
Reminds me of when the brother who played Tank in Matrix ‘got greedy’, so they wrote his ***** out rather than pay him.
I didn’t think Terrence and Robert had good chemistry in the movie at all. Rhodey is suppose to be Starks main man got his back for whatever, didn’t get that from Terrence.

I go to Howard and he was an embarr*****ment I must say…you just had to see it…lmao…I didn’t know what the h*ll he was doin’, and I don’t think he did either. It was sooo funny, yet I felt too bad for him to actually laugh. There is NOTHING wrong with being a drum major but what he did was something different lol. I even feel bad for writing this…a little…
I was there… he got the crowd pumped up…It was humbling to see a star willing to represent Howard that way!!! He did a good job and the crowd loved it!!
Howard just doesn’t fit the role of a military man. I was actually a Sgt. in the military, and Howard just does not exude that strong commanding presence that is needed to pull off that role–although he is versatile. They made the better move to replace him with Cheadle.
I am not going to knock Howard for playing a Drum Major, each his own, but as far as the movie is concern, I could give a fat rat who is in it. It was a crappy movie and the going in and out of rehap, Robert Downney was lousy, just like Will Smith was in that drunk hero mess he was in.
Let’s be clear here. My money and my son attented Howard University. Check yourself Bossip, It is an honor to be a drum major. Especially for a school like Howard University (HU). Do you see that building in back of them ? That’s Drew Hall. Do you know how many of the best of us have slept in that dorm ? I take offense with your sentiment. I guess you think that wearing that armor makes him just like white.

So you ask the question concerning Howard’s nominee for playing a pimp.
I respond, the folks with the voting power looked at the actors of the season and Howard got an Oscar nod based on their criteria, whatever it was. And that is the name of that tune. Oh, by the way, the drum major gig he recently did has no connection to the Iron Man thing. Way too many of you around here are so off the mark it is embarr*****ing.
And if Cheadle does get the role, I believe it will hurt Iron Man 2. Howard has a whimsical, child like demeanor that plays smart and most of all, it plays well with Downy. Don is rough as asphalt. He’s not soft on the eyes and is out of his element if he tries to play in the sandbox with Downey.
That’s my opinion.
We’ll see though. In 2010, IM 2 hits the screens.
how are you gonna fake on don cheadle a an actor????are you kidding. he can play funny as well as serious. I’m not downing howard, but they are not even on the same level. you may want to check out “reign over me” to see that he can have chemistry with anybody….even adam sandler.
Terrance Howard would have sucked as “WarMachine”. Don Cheadle will bring more nuance to the character. Good job by the producers; they’re going with a more character driven storyline.

I like Terrance but his role in Iron Man could have been played more like a tough military guy. The murse thing is funny reminds me of old school like my dad. Hee hee
