It’s amazing how people *****ume he graduated. No doubt he is a successful man, but he did not graduate from HU. commence with the hater comments, but I was there and he threw some hot ***** parties, but he left after a year.

I have a question. We get on athletes about going back to school to get there degree but then what about all of the other celebrities when it comes to education? I know he went to Howard but the question I always asked, “Did he graduate or go back to get his degree?” It’s cool that you respresent the school you went to and he might even give donations from time to time but you don’t hear most of them talk about education. Before anyone gets upset, I know that they have college funds and scholarship programs but wouldn’t be even better if they had at least a bachelors themselves. Because of there status, money and what they do it’s not needed but everyone isn’t going to get it like that. And the one thing you hear now more then anything is get a degree, get a degree. It’s a whole lot more to this and he isn’t the blame for anything so I’m not putting it on him, just a question/comment.

Question for the person that commented on his degree status, you are correct he did not graduate from HU, however do you think it’s necessary to obtain a degree if you have reached your ultimate professional goal. I ask because there are quite a few entrepreneurs that have successful business’ and don’t have a degree….Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, etc….

i don’t care how much money someone has, a degree is symbolic..it shows that you finished something you started and it is something to be proud of since back in the day it would mean death for a slave to read, let alone get an education.

I knew that Diddy didn’t graduate, but that is still his school. Like someone else said, I put him in the same boat with Bill Gates. His career has been on overdrive since the minute he left Howard as well as while he was there. It wasn’t like he left to chill. For a man like Diddy, school was getting in the way of the business. But rest *****ured Howard University did contribute to his success.

1) He’s more successful than I am even though he didn’t graduate. And I did TWICE…
2) So what, he doesn’t have a degree? Get over it. He surrounds himself with people that DID graduate from Howard ie. lawyers, execs, even the *****istants (i see you, karleen).
3) Y’all act like y’all need credentials before you burn somebody’s cd. Give me outrage over Beyonce’s illiterate a$$ before I worry about how many credits Puff got.
