1) He’s more successful than I am even though he didn’t graduate. And I did TWICE…

2) So what, he doesn’t have a degree? Get over it. He surrounds himself with people that DID graduate from Howard ie. lawyers, execs, even the assistants (i see you, karleen).

3) Y’all act like y’all need credentials before you burn somebody’s cd. Give me outrage over Beyonce’s illiterate a$$ before I worry about how many credits Puff got.

Interesting comments. Shoot let me weigh in all late and wrong.

I knew that Diddy didn’t graduate, but that is still his school. Like someone else said, I put him in the same boat with Bill Gates. His career has been on overdrive since the minute he left Howard as well as while he was there. It wasn’t like he left to chill. For a man like Diddy, school was getting in the way of the business. But rest assured Howard University did contribute to his success.

i don’t care how much money someone has, a degree is symbolic..it shows that you finished something you started and it is something to be proud of since back in the day it would mean death for a slave to read, let alone get an education.

Question for the person that commented on his degree status, you are correct he did not graduate from HU, however do you think it’s necessary to obtain a degree if you have reached your ultimate professional goal. I ask because there are quite a few entrepreneurs that have successful business’ and don’t have a degree….Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, etc….
