An 82-year-old Harlem granny who opened her home to the needy had her kindness repaid in blood Monday when her homeless nephew stabbed her in the head during a robbery, police said.

Good-hearted Mazie Garris opened the door of her W. 139th St. brownstone to the man, who may have been looking for a meal or clothes.

The suspect, identified by police as Larry Brown, 57, pulled out a knife and plunged it into the victim’s head, back and chest – then fled with $1,000, police sources said.

A police source said the assailant has a drug problem and was “foaming at the mouth” when he ran from the home. Police have not made an arrest.

Cops released a photo of Brown on Monday night and describe him as 5-feet-9 and 170 pounds. They said he was last seen dressed in black.

Sir, you stab your 82 year-old aunt in the head?! Really?? Even if you were going to rob her, you didn’t have to take it there. Hope they catch your sick a** today!
