Oscar-nominated actress Kate Hudson and her fiance, Muse rocker Matt Bellamy have just purchased a $5.3 million mansion in Pacific Palisades, CA which insiders say is adjacent to Hudson’s current longtime home. Okay we see you ballin’ Kate… The house was purchased from its previous owner, but back in the day Kate’s mom Goldie Hawn and partner Kurt Russell owned the house. So clearly she really likes her neighborhood.

This 5 bed, 7 bath, 7,014-square foot English-style home on 0.38 acres was built in 1935 and boasts fireplaces, an oak-paneled dining room, mahogany-paneled library and vaulted ceilings. There is also a motor court and double-gated arches around driveway. There are French doors, huge center island, a butler’s pantry, breakfast area and terraces. There is a family room, guest bedroom, loft, a sauna and stone patio covered by a pergola structure.
